Dixie Lee Fried Chicken | Best Fast Food Restaurant

Perfectly cooked fried chicken, and lovely team! We decided to treat out team, and order lunch for 10 hungry barbers. The food was all perfectly prepared in a very timely manner, plus the owners were so sweet and grateful to their customers. Lovely little lunch spot or grab and go. Save yourself the cooking and clean up, and enjoy something you can't duplicate at home. We will be back!

The best chicken in town! Not filled with all of the garbage "other" Fried Chicken places use! Fresh and delicious! Our absolute go to when we're craving fried chicken! This location has the best fries, chicken and coleslaw in the whole area! We don't go anywhere else! I ordered the mega meal tonight (10pcs, big fry, gravy and a medium coleslaw) and it was ready in 15 minutes!

We’ve been eating at Dixie Lee Fried Chicken in Penetang at least once a month, and it never disappoints! The chicken is always perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. One of the things we love most is that they fry their chicken in beef tallow instead of seed oil, which gives it an incredible flavor you just can't get anywhere else. The staff is always friendly, and the food consistently exceeds our expectations. Highly recommend if you’re craving great fried chicken!

Love the food, only use Tallow to fry, no seed oil. And have never had a bad experience or meal. Might be a little bit more for a meal but you can taste the difference.

The fries were excellent! Unfortunately, both the white and dark fried chicken I had was extremely dry and not very flavourful. I will not go back.

We recently visited to get some chicken. We’ve had it before. It was delicious. I was shocked when I was told the that eight pieces is $31 and change. When we got home, I opened the box. There was four wings , Hour and then two drumstick , one back , and a peice of a breast portion that looks like it was a breast cut into 4 pieces , tasted great but honestly I will not be returning , we are very disappointed in the amount of chicken for the money . Is this a sign of the times, if so you will be out of business soon ! Is this?

First time trying after living in the area for years. Read reviews and the poutine looked like worth a try. Very, very salty. Can’t eat. The wings were crispy but also very, very salty. What’s with all the salt? I tried Dixie Lee’s and will scratch off my list. Way too much salt!!

Decided to try after all the reviews on Facebook. Not sure why people like it. The poutine I admit was pretty good. Very salty though so I’m glad we just shared a personal one. The chicken tastes a bit like kfc but really not a lot of flavour. Chicken burger had zero flavour other than the toppings. Chicken fingers had zero flavour. It was all just bland or super salty. Pretty expensive too. Won’t be back. Gave 3 stars because the woman doing orders was super nice.
