Quality Italian fare in Perth. Nice wine by the glass choices. Large portions - don't over order.

This restaurant is an Amazing find, the service is warm and welcoming, like you are family. The food, there aren’t any words that could possibly describe how truly authentic their dishes are. I recommend this to everyone I know and to all that I don’t know. It’s definitely worth the drive to Perth, Ontario- 5+star.

Great dining experience at Bistro 54. Although they didn't have everything on the meal, the risotto was excellent.

Enjoyed a wonderful anniversary dinner here, compliments of our kids. Even the gift certificate card is lovely! We were fortunate to have a nice evening to be able to sit outside under the pretty lights.A large display board with interesting cocktails tempted us to start, and we shared a delicious tuna tartar appetizer. I had the shrimp stew with fantastic fennel flavors (wished it had a few more green olives, which I love). My husband had the seafood with shrimp risotto, also delicious. We topped the evening off by sharing a Creme Brule, easily the best I've ever tasted. To-die-for rich flavors of cardamom and orange. Oh, YUM!Our server, Marcela, was delightful. Sadly, totally run off her feet, with no assistance from the folks inside. The service door is very poorly set up so she had to make sure it didn't completely close or she was locked out. Which did happen. And awkward for her to get in and out without having to put dishes down to open the door. I felt badly for her, and hence only four stars for service, not at all her fault. She was cheerful, helpful, and friendly. Kudos! We'll be back!

Quaint and small Bistro operated by dedicated and hard-working folks. The place was packed on this Saturday night and the chef and sous-chef were just a hopping yet very cool and collected-looking (you can watch them "perform" through a glass window). Service was professional, kind and attentive. We had Caesar salad and frutti di mare salad to start, chicken parmesan and carbonara as mains and crème brulée for desert. All complemented by a glass of Prosecco and one Pinot Grigio followed by a $77 bottle of Chianti. The Chianti was incredibly tasty and without the harsh tannins that accompany too many a Chianti. To boot, the mark-up was surprisingly low considering this is a $42 bottle retail. Awesome wine that paired perfectly with our meal. The crème brulée was perfectly done with a beautiful hint of lemon. Well done! The frutti di mare was very satisfying and the Caesar dressing although spot-on in taste was unfortunately drowning the lettuce. The chicken parm was good but badly under-sauced and the low-point was the carbonara. The sauce had lots of great pancetta but sorely lacked egg yoke and cracked pepper. Also, I suspect Romans would strongly object to onions in that dish and they`d also question the use of the overly "fat" spaghetti that came with it. Not a strong dish.In any case, Bistro 54 is a really nice Restaurant to go to if/when you are in Perth. Just make sure you reserve first as at least 6 parties were turned away while we dined as they had failed to do that. Also know that the on-line menu was nothing like the in-person one. Ciao!

We had dinner here with friends who have literally dined all over the world, including Italy — he was a commercial airline pilot — and they loved it. The food was beyond delicious, the service delightful, the outdoor patio was gorgeous. My only tiny quibble is that the restaurant interior is… black. Nice lighting, but maybe a bit of decor to match the elegance of the food?

Must try! This small Italian bistro is absolutely amazing. Dishes made from scratch, so don’t expect rushed, unflavoured food. Zero complaints, hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in years. Great service too.
