“I think of myself as a somewhat a regular. I go in 3-4 times a month to pickup 6-12 beer, ( varied and interesting selection). I often have a poured pint or two, and a bag of crisps. It's got a nice vibe, the staff a friendly and helpful.”

“Second time visiting and the Rocky River Cafe didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious. I gave a 4 star for food only because the gravy on the poutine wasn’t quite hot enough. “I saw an add in EDIBLE OTTAWA for the Picnic Cafe in Perth. My husband and I were looking for a place to have a bowl of soup and a sandwich for lunch. The Cafe is on the southwest edge of the city of Perth. We were pleasantly surprised. It was clean and bright with good seating and lots of parking. We ordered the "THAI inspired" Butternut Squash soup and we shared a tuna sandwich. It was delicious. While we were there several people walked in to order "take-out'. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. We ordered blueberry scones to bring home and they did not disappoint. We will definitely return the next time we go to Perth.”

“The food was excellent and we were looking forward to this traditional German restaurant. It was a Friday evening and we arrived at 6:45 pm. Didn’t realize they take their last order they accept was at 7 pm. By 7:45 pm we were being asked to pay and felt very rushed to leave sadly. Too bad. Photos show the Mushroom Sauce Schnitzel with some Spatzel (and red cabbage on the side). Comes with bread and salad.”

“Food was great, but was a little slow in arriving. Our waitress April, was lovely and paid us just the right amount of attention. Great location and I’m sure the views from the patio are lovely, but we sat inside and the outside gazebo detracted from our view. All in all a nice place for lunch.”
