“Wow! What a lovely shop. The employees were just so kind and polite as they helped me choose the perfect kind of fudge. I personally would say this is the BEST fudge I've ever had. When it came to buying ice cream I couldn't decide what dip flavor to choose from, so I went with the classic regular sized cone dipped in salted caramel. Let me tell you it didn't disappoint. Overall my experience here was a 5 star and they will see me back many times throughout the summer.”
“Had 2 bacon cheeseburgers, fries and a pepsi - burgers & fries were excellent. Food is made to order so there's a little wait but well worth it!! We did want fish & chips but they were out.”
“No longer Steve's -- a new restaurant called Westport Fish and Chips now occupies this location. Their reputation is far better than Steve's. I'm not a fried fish fan and haven't been yet.”
“This course is in amazing condition and plays to all level of player. The staff here is friendly and the food excellent. Take the drive with your friends…you won’t regret it.”
“I was sent to this place by a friend who loved the people and their butter tarts. The owner is incredibly kind and the butter tarts are to die for. Put this place on your list of reasons to visit Westport!”
“Best beer, best staff anywhere, hands down. They also went out of their way to make a non menu item for us, a salmon pizza. It was amazing! Thank you to Westport brewing Co.!!!!”
“Great home made food! Six hungry men meet up here and were all surprised by how good the food was! No one of us thought their dinner could of been better. Really happy we stopped here and will make the effort to do so again shortly! Thanks for the great service.”
“A quaint small pub. Food was good. I had the chicken tacos my daughter had a basket of chicken tenders and fries. The restaurant next door was loud and it was our first choice, however we’re so thankful we took a peek and opened up this door. Defiantly be back.Kid-friendliness: Lots to choose from the menu if you have kids.”
“Shared a wonderful lunch with my mom at this enchanting winery. From the moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the stunning scenic atmosphere. The air was filled with the sweet serenity of a countryside escape. As we settled in, we couldn't help but notice farm animals casually strolling about, adding an authentic touch to the ambiance.Amidst the charm, friendly chickens circled the tables, seemingly minding their own business but infusing the surroundings with a delightful liveliness. The warmth of the country feel was truly comforting. Now, onto the culinary delights. The artichoke dip was a standout, a burst of flavors that delighted the taste buds. The wine selection didn't disappoint either; each sip was a journey through rich and vibrant notes. The staff contributed significantly to the positive experience. Their friendliness and attentiveness added to the overall enjoyment. It felt like we were not just customers but guests in a welcoming environment. And, of course, the cherry on top – or rather, the view on top. The sight of Rideau Lake from the winery was nothing short of breathtaking. It elevated our lunch experience to a new level, providing a serene backdrop to the laughter and enjoyment. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this cottage farm-style chic winery to anyone seeking a memorable time. It's a perfect blend of great food, flavorful wines, friendly staff, and a stunning view – a true gem waiting to be experienced.”
