Real chicken breast and delicious meatballs in the sandwiches. Reasonable prices and good service. Nice little art gàllery around the tables.”

“We arrived in Merrickville ahead of the Christmas rush. Parking was only available on side streets. The town was packed. We had only a brief wait to be seated at our table for four in the back room. It was very pleasant as was our server. Service was prompt and our guests guided to the table quickly despite a 15 minute predicted wait time.The food was excellent. I had the traditional pub fare a delicate fish and chips with a stout. The chicken tenders my wife had were complimented with a tasty salad and crisp Sauvignon Blanc. So reasonably priced my guest insisted on paying. We all want to set a return date. Definitely a must visit in Merrickville.”

“Patti, Trevor & Crew are *INCREDIBLE*.We visit every Saturday so that our son can enjoy one of their sugar donuts. They always go out of their way to make him feel special!As a local accommodation in the village we always have guests asking about breakfast and lunch catering. We ALWAYS pair up with Violets for these requests!! They knock it out of the park every single time. Guests request them again and again for repeat stays!Lastly, we just had Patti & team make our daughters 5th birthday cake. We said she loved everything “pink, princess & fun”! The cake the created was not only delicious (Okay, beyond delicious. Everyone was raving!) It was the CUTEST cake we had ever seen. Our daughter was ecstatic. It was pink with a real princess crown in the side and dress up high heels on top by the candles! The creativity blew us away!!Violets on Main continues to amaze us as a bakery and as human being. Merrickville is very lucky to have them!”

I also love that there are other food options for my kids who aren’t into Indian food yet. They said the fries were just perfect! Looking forward to going back next week to try the beef vindaloo. It’s authentic, delicious, and very well priced!”

“My husband and I fancied fish and chips tonight so I googled where to get the best fish and chips near us and Bob’s Fresh cut Fries came up so we thought we would give them a try.Well we are so glad we did! The fish was cooked to perfection. It melted in your mouth, Nice and moist and crispy thin batter. And the fries were so crisp and not saturated in oil.My husband is from the UK and loves his fish and chips and said”BEST FISH AND CHIPS I HAVE EATEN FOR SEVERAL YEARS!Definitely recommend this place to eat.The staff are professional, friendly and provide excellent service to compliment their excelllent food.Thank you so much. We absolutely love the food, but it’s the people who make the experience worth it every time for us.
