I cannot say enough good things about Hourglass! Stumbled upon this absolute gem by accident! Not only are you greeted with an amazing atmosphere and service but the menu and food is to die for! My daughter truly enjoyed her first babycino, that was clearly made with care ! Fantastic wait to return!

I am here about once a week. Service is always amazing. The owners are quite friendly. We get sandwiches and cookies usually, grilled cheese with pesto and tomato is our favourite so far. The scones… delicious. The cookies… delicious. Coffee… wonderful. The lavender/lemon Italian soda…. So great. They even have someone of their stuff available in the freezer to take home!
I highly recommend this cafe. There is lots of seating for people. It’s comfortable and inviting.

The wonderful staff at Hourglass hosted a private dinner for us and the wedding party for our son’s wedding. There were around 20 people. The food was delicious. David did a tea tasting for us, which made the evening extra special. It was a fantastic evening. Definitely consider having them cater your special event.

Paul, David, and the team we're extremely kind and offered great service. I went there to do Electrical work so I got access to the behind-the-till experience of them and they actually are that nice!Normally a coffee shop disappoints me in some way during my experience but the location is charming, the energy in there is peaceful and inviting, and go figure- the coffee actually tasted great too! Certainly a gem in my books that I would bring friends to again.All the best!

Grabbed a coffee. Was very tasty and atmosphere was cozy.
Didn't even have a server come to the table after sitting for more then ten minutes the was a lady standing behind the counter served a handful of high-school students never bothered to come over and take our order. We left as she was still standing there and didn't say two words.

Unfortunately I came here to have a Coffee but couldn't get any service. Only one worker, who seemed new and barely able to keep up. They should at least have two people working. So I ended up leaving and going to Coutts downtown instead.
