This was such a disappointing experience that I felt I needed to leave a review. Long wait for food to arrive, stressed server, the chicken burrito bowl I ordered was very poor quality, especially for $25. The chicken was dry, hard and unseasoned, the presentation lacklustre, and the other ingredients were minimal - maybe a tbsp of guac, sour cream, corn etc. The restaurant has no atmosphere and was too warm inside. Overpriced and underwhelming. Won’t be returning.

Mex is at the most amazing location I'm Perth. Even in the winter the fire is warm and inviting. The food is amazing and the staff is top notch

We ordered the steak fajitas. The ingredients were fresh, and the portions were generous for two people.
The staff was extremely accommodating.

Food was good but portion incredibly small. Had the bandera enchiladas where enchiladas were the size of taquitos with lots of fillers (rice coleslaw). Not worth the price.

When you want your mexican food fix, this is a cant miss spot. It never disappoints food wise. A bit pricey for what you get but you find that everywhere these days. Nice spot right on the Tay River.

Beautiful spot on the waters edge. Fabulous staff who easily helped work around Celiac, gluten and lactose free needs. Everything was beautifully presented and very tasty. Definitely will return when in the area.

What a wonderful experience! Sat on the patio overlooking the water with a beautiful view of the old stone bridge and building on the other side. Great atmosphere with a vibrant setting. Food. drinks, and service was great. Definitely reccomend if you happen to be visiting this quaint town. I'll be back.

hi mex and co, here are some insightful tips

1-waiting time was WAY too long, they only brought me my food once i told them that i was in a rush (which i was)
2-eh food is pretty good, dont change anything ig
3-nice river view, probably one of the highlights about this restaurant

thats it, youre beautiful just the way you are:3

Nice location, nice outdoor patio, lovely surroundings overall. Food? Very average. Tiniest chips and (not very interesting) salsa for $8. Enchiladas... so-so and over $23. I get that the cost of everything has gone up but it feels like food quality has been allowed to go down at the same time. Won't be returning anytime soon.

I never ever complain but it was god awful. We waited an hour for our food which wasn’t hot or great for that matter. The Diet Coke was off so we asked for soda water, asked to fill our daughter’s cup of water it took 20mins to get the cup back after I had to ask for it. People who ordered after us got their food before us it was just chaos. They shouldn’t have accepted all these people for lunch if they couldn’t handle it. Everyone around us were getting annoyed and asking where their food was as well. Least they could’ve taken off the bad Diet Coke off the bill and offered free scoop of ice cream for our 2 year old.
