We had spent a lot of time walking around town & Stewart Park, and being thirsty, we stopped here for a quick drink. The server, Laura, was so friendly and if we didn't have reservations elsewhere, we would have stayed for dinner. The plates being delivered past our table looked so amazing, and the smell was incredible. We sat on the patio and enjoyed our short time there.

We chose this restaurant during our recent day trip to Perth and the surrounding cities. We liked its location and the ambiance. Although the patio looked more appealing, we decided to sit inside to avoid the cold breeze.
We ordered the funky quesadilla and the fish tacos. Both tasted good—especially the tacos, thanks to the touch of sweetness from the pineapple. However, considering the portion sizes, we felt the prices were quite high.

Awesome food. We ordered quesadilla, burrito, rice bowl and chimichanga. The portions were one of the biggest we have seen in any Canadian restaurants. The vibe is good and the costs are reasonable. The patio by the canal is great but usually busy. Indoor seating is not too bad - in fact we preferred that.

Good food, friendly staff, cosy in winter time, outdoor dining with lovely flowers all around in summer time, nice view of the water (canal).

Ordered a taco salad and it was beyond my expectations. It was absolutely huge in the most beautiful homemade taco bowl! Full to the brim with goodness! Other people in our group got fajita and the burger. We sat outside on the canal. Wonderful ambiance!

I got the chicken quesadilla and a strawberry slushy thing and they were delicious! We sat outside near the water and that was beautiful. We got a table very quickly, almost as soon as we entered the restaurant. Our waitress was very nice and it’s service was pretty fast too.

The food was ok. Nothing special and i could easily do better at home for the same price. Infinitely better and more flavorful.
The staff was great and they were fast. This location we sat on the patio and it was fantastic. It's right on the water (river? Creek?) And a perfect place for a couple coronas on a hot summer night... well maybe not the night. I imagine the mosquitoes suck but the afternoon is really nice here.

The best Nachos I've ever had.

Amazing ambiance. The food is authentic and flavorful. I ordered the veggie nachos and chicken bowl. The pico toppings were barely there on the nachos. Apart from that, the taste and flavours were great. The main dish was fresh, perfectly made and well presented.

Lovely setting, very limited healthy options. Not the fresh-Mex plant-forward menu you might be expecting.
The fish tacos are deep-fried (cauliflower is fried, too). There are no beans on the menu (none in the kitchen - asked). Soy-chorizo is the only plant-based protein. Salads are the same ingredients.

While visiting Perth a year ago, we ate here and loved it. So when we planned another trip this year, we were excited to go back. We were very disappointed thos time round. The service was fine. The atmosphere is nice, but the food was terrible! A gigantic pile of cold rice, enchiladas filled with cold tasteless chicken and covered in goopy sauce was my meal. Would not return and would not recommend.

The only thing that deterred from the 5th star for the service was the wait time.
We were seated promptly, and Charoltte was a lovely server. We order spring rolls and our mains when our waters arrived.
The spring rolls were fresh out of the fryer, and were DELICIOUS with the accompanied dipping sauce. But, it took another 35 minutes for our mains to arrive. It shouldn't take that long for a quesadilla and a steak burrito to prep. But apparently, they had a number of large groups, and were short staffed in the kitchen. All was forgotten in the first few bites. My burrito had a little more heat that what I'm used to, but it made it all that much more enjoyable. The quesadilla was chessy and delicious, and more filling than my wife expected. Usually I eat her leftovers, but I was as FULL.
If you're willing to wait, it's worth it.

We have looked forward to having our annual meal at Mex & Co. Last years meal was a bit of a let down but we thought it might have been a one off. So this weekend we booked a table and the meal was a disappointment to say the least. The Rice was not even warm and way too much. and the meats in our meals were quite tasteless. The kitchen made a mistake on one of our orders as well. The only nice thing about it was our server was very pleasant. Mex & Co. for next year will be a pass
