Went to North Folk after walking to Picnic and found it closed. Super friendly staff, but around 2pm they had very little available. They were out of bagels and wraps. Did have quite a few pastries and desserts, including a date square and a Nanaimo bar. Also a few ice cream flavours.
It was expensive too, for a drink and a Nanaimo bar it was $14.

We actually got some pecan buns instead of the cinnamon buns we asked for and the coffee was too sweet, and a bit too expensive. This place isn't bad though, I'll try it again in the future. They sell some nice local products.

Comparable price wise to Starbucks but usually good- becoming an issue of paying for a large and receiving the smaller size. Usually I catch it before leaving with the drink and food, not this time. Probably going to start favouring Starbucks for a better guarantee of receiving what I pay for, however this business was one of my favourites for a long while. I feel like they provide a decent range of bakery items and rotate drink specials enough to stand out from the other local coffee shops.
