Comparable price wise to Starbucks but usually good- becoming an issue of paying for a large and receiving the smaller size. Usually I catch it before leaving with the drink and food, not this time. Probably going to start favouring Starbucks for a better guarantee of receiving what I pay for, however this business was one of my favourites for a long while. I feel like they provide a decent range of bakery items and rotate drink specials enough to stand out from the other local coffee shops.

1-the lox bagel is very good, dont change anything 2-eh grilled cheese could use some work, use different cheese 3-breakfast bagel was awesome 4-great service

Really good service at North Folk. Staff is kind and attentive, despite being very busy as many other reviews point out. I’ve had many food items off of the menu and they’ve all been pleasant. Also had many beverages including lattes and smoothies which are also highly recommended. The sticky buns from thanksgiving weekend are just SO delicious!
I love visiting cafes and was looking forward to good coffee and breakfast at North Folk with my husband on my birthday after reading many positive reviews. Unfortunately, my latte tasted burnt and the western breakfast sandwich was rather bland. The cafe itself is cute, but I'd rather have my $40 and my birthday breakfast back.
Edit: After reading the owner's reply, I think they have me confused with a different customer. I ate the entire breakfast sandwich despite it being just OK. They did not bring extra utensils. In fact, I had to go to the counter to ask for the cookie that they forgot to bring as part of our order.

Oddly, they had vegan butter on the menu but nothing else. They offered to make me a salad but had no vegan cheese or protein choices. So, lettuce, essentially.
