Went to North Folk after walking to Picnic and found it closed. Super friendly staff, but around 2pm they had very little available. They were out of bagels and wraps. Did have quite a few pastries and desserts, including a date square and a Nanaimo bar. Also a few ice cream flavours.
It was expensive too, for a drink and a Nanaimo bar it was $14.
We actually got some pecan buns instead of the cinnamon buns we asked for and the coffee was too sweet, and a bit too expensive. This place isn't bad though, I'll try it again in the future. They sell some nice local products.
Besides a great cafe they also make amazing cakes for special occasions. The good people at North Folk worked with me to make a dream birthday cake come true. Would definitely recommend.
