The food - try the daily pasta specials, the hungry 7 burger, or the steak/frites - is always excellent, the service expert, friendly and fast, and the atmosphere is noisy - well it’s a diner, right - with Dave’s favorite sixties albums playing in the background. The restaurant is often filled so I usually book a table early.

We ended up here only because the restaurant we had planned on going to was closed. What a lucky find this was! The food was delicious and our server was wonderful. We'll certainly be back.

Owner / Chef treated me with disdain. We hoped to order take out, did not plan to dine in therefore approached the counter, nodded to the chief owner recognized from before, I asked for “the same hamburger steak I had enjoyed there two years ago. He then irritatingly and dismissively told me “He has never cooked such item in the restaurant. I then (after doing my best to explain the ingredients of the dish…all the time to his and servers angry, “we are in a hurry” body language) FOUND THE ITEM ON THE MENU - named “hot hamburger sandwich, with fried onions “. Look I don’t know if they were dealing with a ‘bad day’ Etc. But the experience compared to other times I was their customer, was shockingly harassing.
I told them I felt my business was not appreciated, and left the premises.

I was impressed to see the open kitchen and it was immaculate. Our server was pleasant and efficient. The food was good, but the Greek dressing was not home made. If it is, I think a new recipe with garlic and oregano would be more suitable. I tasted no garlic at all. I'd go back.
