Wow what a gem of a spot. We were so grateful to experience David's delicious meals made with love and care amongst all the garbage fast food spots along highway 7. The food is great and the service is fantastic. It was nice energy to be around.

We've eaten dinner and lunch at the Hungry 7 regularly for years and have always enjoyed the quality, homemade food. Tonight was our first disappointing experience after no longer being able to substitute salad instead of fries with our meal, for additional charge. Server advised that if you want a side salad, you need to order either grilled lamb or chicken pot pie, as only those meals include side salads. Unfortunately, neither choice is an ideal option with lactose intolerance. Note you can still order their salads as a full meal, and have the option to add a chicken breast to your salad for additional charge. Puzzling to not be able to avoid fries with their numerous other main course offerings.

Great meal. Pasta dish was awesome. Service quite good. Make a reservation for a better seat l would recommend. Food is superior to look of restaurant. Interior could use upgrade but as for food, highly recommended. Will be back soon.

What a great place. Service is excellent and it's obvious that there is a real chef in the kitchen. Home made soups too. I got the wrong soup but I didn't care because it was that good.

Meal was good. The upcharge of 2.00 for extra mayonnaise was a little much. Would have been nice to know this before I ordered. Bring your own mayo

This place offers country charm and surprisingly good food. The service could be improved. Perhaps a second server is needed during the busiest times.

This is seriously quality food, homemade, and very well prepared. High end kitchen and set up means the cook/chef is serious and a higher standard (and quite an enjoyable character). Things like homemade sourdough bread make the chicken club a next level experience. Definitely coming back.

Fantastic locally owned spot. My server was friendly and kind. She was greeting locals warmly the whole time I was there. My smash burger and fries were absolutely fantastic. The coleslaw could have been better. I will be back many time!

Very rude staff.
$23.99+ tax and tip for a hamburger and fries without a drink. Very expensive.
Dirty washroom.
Cheap Ketchup.
The burger was ok but not worth the $30 you end up paying for a basic burger and some fries.

The hostess/server was polite and friendly, the restaurant small but clean and comfortable, and the food was excellent. Would (and definitely will) return, and bring others along!
Try the double smash burger. You won't regret it!
