85$/person for... 1 glass of about a shot of cheap sparkling wine with a raspberry 1 small piece of bread 1 Watery small portioned French onion soup 1 Under Cooked Steak with an overwhelming amount of fat and gristle 1 cheap pie or mousse dessert Absolutely insane to charge that much, let alone seriously serve the above...

It's unfortunate they had no clients booked other than us when they called to confirm they should have cancelled the reservation! Staff was new or inexperienced and they were sold out of many wines and food items which they listed for us. Red flag! We felt bad and awkwardly stayed. Meatloaf was served cold! No excuse for that. Sent back and came back cold. Once a nice place too bad!

We had a very nice experience here for New Year's eve, the food was fabulous. The atmospheric was lovely and we really enjoyed the live music. Our server was quite pleasant and attentive all evening as we enjoyed numerous courses. I would definitely recommend The Stone Cellar for a special dining experience.

Good gluten free nut burger options for us! Fireplace đŸ”„ was nice to take the chill out of the room.

We made reservations 5 days in advance for a party of 6 for a birthday celebration. We arrived 5 minutes prior to our time and were seated with only one other table of 2 diners in the entire restaurant. The server was overwhelmed as she was the only person who greeted us, bartended, took orders and cleared tables. Our drink order was 20 minutes to arrive however our soup was out quick for 2 of us and cold. The other apps arrived 15 minutes later. Same with our meals. A 20 minute delay from the arrival of the first meal to the 6th. The mashed potatoes was cold. The empty appetizer plates were still on the table throughout our meal and we finally asked for them to be removed. The washroom facility was filthy with overflowing trash bin even though they had only been open for an hour. The toilet seat was cracked and pinched your butt when you sat down. The sink was filthy. You could see into the disorganized kitchen as you left the washroom.
For an advertised facility that offers a higher end dining experience this just doesn’t cut it. The manager/owner needs to take a hard look at what they are offering..before the health dept does.
Very poor effort. Won’t be back.

owner thinks its okay to not pay a bill and simply ignore you. So if you're hungry come to stone cellar and not pay. Don't worry, the owner totally resonates with that

Pay your bill Lindsay

Update: owner still hasn't paid

This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. Firstly, trying to make a reservation for 6 people was brutal - never answer the phone and no voicemail to leave a message. One person serving the entire restaurant as hostess/bartender/server. She
.was
.so
..slow

Took one hour to get a glass of wine. Also there were barely any wines in stock that were on their wine list which also slowed the process. Side dishes came out almost 30 minutes before our mains. One of our diners received her dinner at this point as well, so was finished her meal before the rest of us were served ours. The food was, at worst, inedible and best case half warm half cold. We had no appetizers. It took 3 hours for us to have wine and a main course and so we were not offered dessert because the restaurant was closing. The server told us she had been on the job for 3 weeks, with no prior food service experience. The chef (I use the term loosely as no respectable chef would send food out that way) was obviously not experienced and was also on his own. It’s shameful that this server, with so little experience and obviously very little training, would be left on her own to serve an entire restaurant. Bottom line, do not dine here until the new owner/management get their act together. You’ll spend a lot of money for horrible service and mediocre (at best) food.

Reserved months ahead for a special occasion - barely welcomed in, were sat at a nice but unset table with menus, told by server she’d be back with settings and then were left without not even a drink for 20 minutes - when we got up and left still unchecked. Terrible!

We went last night for our anniversary. We had been a few years ago, also excellent. We were offered complimentary glasses of prosecco to celebrate with, which was such a nice touch. Ordered a bottle of wine, had french onion soup to start - which our server had made herself: delicious! My husband had the lamb and I had the gnocchi. We loved the meal, the ambiance and the attentive service, and all for a reasonable price. Thanks for a wonderful night

The restaurant in Perth is just too funny. I said I wanted lamb chops, so we came to this nearby place called Stone Cellar.

The taste was mediocre, and even though the prices were on the high side, we could deal with that. But the owner kept asking if we wanted dessert, even though we clearly ordered a lot and were too full to eat more. ??

Then the male owner came over and rushed us to pay the bill, and he even brought the bill directly to us. Then, he actually closed the patio door and said they were closing.

What? ?

They open at 5 PM and close at 7 PM—only work two hours a day. ???

One-star review! Never coming back!
Bye! ?

We’ve made a tradition of going to the Stone Cellar for our anniversary. Always had a great meal, but not tonight. Half of their very small menu was unavailable (all the stuff I wanted,) My wine came in a dirty glass. My husband’s “garden vegetable salad” had no vegetables other than lettuce. Three of us ordered rib steak, and all of our steaks were overcooked. Our waitress was lovely, and reduced the bill slightly, but overall a very very disappointing meal.
