My Dad and I just came back from Amandala’s and had a really lovely dinner.
Despite the kitchen having a full board when we arrived we were taken in and served promptly and courteously.
I’m a bit fussy about my martinis and my gin with a twist came out quickly and was tasty.
My Dad had seafood linguini and *loved* it; like he’s still talking about it an hour later. I had the pickerel and was genuinely impressed with the quality of the fish and the attention paid to balancing the flavours on the plate. Pickerel is tricky: for my palate, these folks nailed it.
Finished the evening with a couple of amarros on ice.
Exceptional meal. Amanda and her staff treated us like royalty. The strawberry duck wings are to die for. It was a magical dining experience.

We are from Belleville and were meeting a couple visiting from Northbay. After reading excellent reviews I chose Amandala's. Definitely was exceptional. We all chose the Paella as I hadn't had it since a trip to Spain and everyone wanted to try it too. Terrific choice. We all had different desserts and all made there and all very good.. We will make a trip to Peterborough and definitely go to this 5 star restaurant again.

My husband and I hired Amanda, Chef Simon, and Sous Chef Lesaire last week to cater a private event. Amanda was most accommodating from the outset when we first met with her in May. She promised service and food that would make our event extra special. We had many requests due to anaphylaxis and non-foodies within the group. Amanda and Chef Simon did their best to provide a meal that met our requests and went above and beyond to prepare and serve it off site. There was one mistake that was addressed immediately and apologies extended profoundly. Outside of that, the food and service were amazing and we look forward to dining within Amandala's many times in the coming years.

My partner and I had the pleasure of dining at Amandala's yesterday evening and it was a fantastic experience. We started with the charcuterie board and enjoyed both of the chef specials for dinner, which were a fish dish and pork chops (I had the pork chops dinner and it was spectacular! And my partner highly enjoyed his fish as well). We ended our meals with hands down the best cheesecake I've ever had (we had the chocolate raspberry...fresh raspberries!!) Everything was fresh and prepared with care, even down to the mocktails! Amanda was our server and I didn't catch the other servers name who seemed to be training alongside her but both were excellent! Very attentive and kind :) from the service, atmosphere and food it was well worth every penny spent.
If you are planning your next date night or celebration I highly recommend Amandala's, you won't be disappointed!!

Another beautiful night at amandalas. This is our go to spot for date night. The service is always wonderful, with attentive and knowledgeable staff. The food is always amazing, the hardest part is trying to decide what to order, but no matter the decision you will not be disappointed. Everything is made in house with a great attention to detail and presentation. Wonderful live guitar and violin performance in a cozy, romantic atmosphere on a Sunday. Do not miss your chance to one of peterborough's greatest hidden gems!
