I'm spoiled with good lattes and good cafes with regular trips to Montreal. Cork and Bean is the best in Peterborough/ Kawartha Lakes. They make a great coffee/ latte/ espresso etc and they are consistent - it's always good, and that is hugely important to me. Fantastic vibrant, but still relaxing atmosphere. They still specialize in nadas - a delicious Portuguese custard tart. Try the chocolate one too - killer.
This is my fav coffee shop in Peterborough, particularly in the winter because of its super cozy vibes. The coffee is fantastic, the breakfast burrito is my go-to meal, and their Portuguese tarts are to die for! It's a very busy spot for a reason, haha. I highly recommend checking it out!

It’s a beautiful looking place, with friendly staff that makes a good cup of coffee.Found them a bit pricey, two latte style coffees ( cafe mocha and a London fog) and two croissant sandwiches (ham and cheese) was over $30. But that may just be the world we are living in now.
