The Best Male Server I've Had In Peterborough.Very friendly & attentive great energy server. The food was GREAT. Very unique Beer Bread Taste & filling meat sandwich with Pickles. The Chili was elevated too with onion rings, corn, greens, & their special cooked meat. Wow! Great atmosphere & great music. Dr. J's lived up to the name.
First time here so we ordered a bit of everything- ribs, brisket, chicken, turkey, sausage, bologna, Mac and cheese. We were very happy with the flavour and the amount of food we received. Our bill was about $100 but we had 4 beverages and enough food for a second meal. Every table was full and looked like 2 floor staff but they were doing a great job looking after the guests. We will definitely be returning and I will be reaching out to book catering!

Ordered large order for workplace. Very helpful and had everything ready to go and well marked. Had the smoked brisket quesadilla - delicious and so filling! Heads up during winter months, enter from street facing entrance. Lots of parking options around (free lot parking, paid street parking or very close to paid municipal parking garage. This business supports many local organizations - great spot to eat a hearty meal!
