I started with the corn soup, which was as spicy as I remember. It has more whole kernels than before (I believe), but that was not unpleasant in any way. I had an old favourite, the fried shrimp po boy. It flooded back old memories. Fries and beans in the side were perfect. I highly recommend this place

Worked here about 10 years ago. Recently took the wife on a 2 hour road trip, to try it. The food was still the same flavors and quality after all these years. Going again today!I was a bit disappointed to dis over the Jambalaya wasnt available. I hope this is just a temporary measure do to the Novid nonsense.

This place has a cool kinda name and wanted to go for a while. I was taken for a birthday dinner. I was pretty excited. They only serve micro brewery beers so beware guys! No bud no Coors no Molson. My friend was not amused.Then we ordered. Blackened chicken. And YA it was black but the inside was pink and raw. Am I going back? . Nope. Nadda. No chance. Especially since I found out they are shutting down wooooooo!Woooo!I'm staying Optimistic that a much better restaurant will arrive in its place. One that dosnt require hospital visits.

They were closing a little early but when we called they said it was okay to come. Amazing hush puppies! Cuban salad was huge and excellent. Blackened catfish, fries and salad was good but wasn't great. Staff was excellent.

I find this place to be PRICEY. I order the same thing every time I go. I get HORRIBLE waitresses with the worst attitude problems, I met the owner once, he was the nicest out of all them! Unfortunately I wont be returning out of all the experiences I've had there, it runs like a fast food joint! I always have to look for someone to be seated. I once waited 30 minutes outside looking for anyone, it wasn't even like they were busy, 3 customers were seated at the time. Wouldn't go back to this place. Not anything special. Regular food priced out of the market.

Great gem if Peterborough! I've been coming here for a long time. Try the blackened catfish, I was a bit nervous to try it since catfish isn't my favourite but it's well worth it ? staff were friendly and have a great sense of humour

I have been going to Hot Belly Mama's for years and can't get enough of their amazing po'boys. The food is delicious, the ambience is wonderful and funky, and the service has always been on-point. I have recommended this restaurant countless times. The food that others ordered looked really good.......especially the pizza. I"ll be back!
The food here is always above par, the prices affordable, and the service super friendly. Highly recommend the ribs and sweet potato fries.

I have the Hush Puppies every time and love them. The portion is too large for an appetizer for one (husband has gluten allergy), but I enjoyed them today for lunch. My pasta was excellent as was husbands catfish (although small) Excellent waiter friendly, attentive but not overly. thanks

Good but not above standard. I would have expected home made sauces instead of using Frank's. Still good staff were excellent.
