There were 9 of us in our group. Everyone was very happy with everything. Only one of us had ever been there before. All from out of town but will definitely be back.

The staff were not the best at all, the food was gross. Not impressed. Went there a couple years ago and it was so much better. Definitely went down hill.

Just to let all know they lost my business the server complaint of me not leaving tip and I should of. This is a personal option I think . 10 03 24 servers should not be demanding or taking advantage of it :

I only tip if i like the food and the food was not good, the old server attitude shifted quickly when i didn’t tip, she thinks that a tip is necessary.

We are throughly disappointed with this restaurant after years of buying from them.
Jack's USE to be our place to go for fish and chips......BUT no more !!!
My hubby and I split a 2 piece Halibut meal, and the last few times we've been so disappointed. The fish and the fries werent cooked enough, and we're way to greasy.
Last night we decided to to order again (take out) we ordered our usual meal, again the fish wasn't crispy, fries undercooked and greasy. The only good part of the meal was the 1/2 cup of their beans that come with the meal which we share.
I was also shocked that the order came to $37.28. I tried to eat the fish and chips, but I couldn't eat more then a few bites. I felt like I should of cooked the meal more before eating.
So $37.28 was way to much for us to pay, only eat 1/4 of a cup of beans and 2 bites of fish and literally only a few chips.....I had to make something else to eat.
Plus they've Jacked up the price of the order.....we can't afford to pay pretty much $40.00 for what we received.
So Sorry Jacks, you were our go to place if we had company and wanted to eat out, or when we had the urge for fish and chips.....which use to be pretty much weekly.
No more business from this family and I could no longer recommend your restaurant for the great quality of food.......maybe you need cooks that know how to cook fish and chips better then what we've been getting.

Went in for the first time for takeout ordered a jacks fish n chips 1 piece with beans overall very good the beans could use less sauce its like a soup mushy texture fries were excellent but the fish was way too greasy as you can see from the top of the box besides no complaints besides a prompt for a tip for takeout I don't mind tipping for good service but thats for dine in would definately go back

Ordered the kids “mac & cheese” and got Kraft Dinner with marble cheese sprinkled on top.
Ridiculous. Never have I ever seen this much laziness.

I went to Jacks on Saturday. This is the first time our servers were rude. They made us wait over 20 minutes for a table. Most tables were empty. I asked the waiter how long and she said I have no idea, how would I know?
I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years and I don’t think I will return. The food quality has changed as well

Excellent Food, Excellent Service. Had the Ribs. Meat falls off the bone. Two thumbs up??

Good food but a bit pricey for what you get, can find better food and prices elsewhere.
Slowly change the menu to include less but increase the price.
Cheap owner with a barely maintained establishment.
