Great variety of Korean and Japanese food. Clean, fresh, tasty, beautifully presented in a cute restaurant that has a great vibe. Matsu is thankfully not an AYCE.
Usually order Spicy Rice cakes, Jap Chae, Maki Platter-Vegetarian, Tempura, Yaki Udon, Agedashi Tofu, Avocado Salad.
The maki is top notch, hardly any rice which shows true craftsmanship.
Nothing ruins sushi more than a thick layer of rice and hardly any filing.

I've been coming here for over 2 years now, it's my favourite place in Peterborough, it's always my hidden gem when going out to eat with people, everyone I've brought here is always so impressed, with the food, the service, the privacy and calm, quiet atmosphere and energy, never a long way for food. This place has such an incredible amount of personality and character, 100% my favourite restaurant I've ever been to!

We recently went there and had an amazing experience .The food and service were excellent. We were served by kristy (if i am not mistaken ) she was amazing. She made us feel so welcomed. Than you for making our visit enjoyable.

Matsu sushi is the best sushi in town! Everything is so fresh, their sushi rolls are big portions. Fantastic service as well, everyone is so nice! Highly recommend

Such an easy city gem! Kind staff and delicious food - love the bibimbap and sushi especially! Also love the kitschy booths and general vibes.
