By far one of my favorite places to go in Peterborough. The beer is made locally (next door), nothing on the menu will disappoint, the staff is quick and friendly, and the vibe inside or on the patio is on point. Great place to unwind any day of the week.
A big thank you to The Publican House team. Today we hosted over 60 friends and family in the private room for my grandfather's celebration of life. The staff was very attentive and the food was great. Thank you for making our difficult day easy and enjoyable.

My reservations about atmosphere are an easy fix. For an open space it was surprisingly Conversation-friendly: No noisy playlist to interfere and we had a lovely booth to ourselves for catch-up.
Caveat: I assume the meat is well cooked, however, the several big screens spashed UFC blood all over what is a fairly nice atmosphere. All good if you’re expecting to host a rugger team for the evening....
