I had a great experience at Smitty’s Family Restaurant. The food was tasty, the service was friendly, and the place was clean and comfortable. I would definitely go back again

NEW OWNERS ARE SO BAD
I’ve gone to smittys my whole life and it’s always been great, this past weekend was a total different story though! The service was great and the food was yummy but the owners must be new and they were the reason I’ll never come back while they have it! I heard them yell at their server telling her she should not have served a table because he assumed they were homeless, he made them leave just after starting their breakfast and even still they payed their bill and tipped the server, the owners not only did not apologize to these people but physically pushed the server out the front door! I was disgusted to say the least and these people do not deserve a single cent! I’ll never come back

Their food is portion worthy.

relaxing day and nice place to have a quick bite, big breakfast is nice, our philly beet is a bit day, so how it lack the smell and taste of another restaurant.

We have been here for dinner with my family for first time and it was very delicious. i feel it as hidden gems.

I was there this past weekend with a large group. Upon entering, an older lady (waitress) seemed extremely annoyed with our group as soo as we walked through the door. When I asked politely and gave a suggestion she was very rude and disrespectful with her response. I understand that it was a very busy place, but her customer service was non existant. Lucky enough, my family was served by Barbara, who apologized for her colleagues unacceptable behavior. At one point, the rude waitress was taking orders from other members of our group, she seemed annoyed to the point where she did not complete taking orders. We had to ask another gentleman to come finish and take the order. I was even applauded that she was even yelling at our kids to pick up a crayon that was dropped. Upon leaving the restaurant I heard her complaing to other customers about our group. That was uncalled for and rude. Her lake of customer service and respect was appalling. To have other waiters/waitresses apologize for her behavior and unacceptable comments is disgusting. Her customer service skills are non-existent.

The food was ok. I ordered a breakfast meal with one egg and the portion of my scrambled egg was SO small, as if it was cut in half. The kids enjoyed there breakfast and I was happy with Barbara as I knew she was working hard to get orders in, at such a busy time. The gentleman that also helped out was phenomenal as well, ase took on our tables when the rude waitress dismissed them. So thank you - I didn't get his name.

Use to be our favourite breakfast place! After the recent ownership change it’s just not the same anymore.

My worst restaurant experience ever! DON’T ORDER THE FISH AND CHIPS! One piece of Fish came out raw with the batter still liquid. I found out too late! I waited over 30 mins after we started eating to talk to the server to talk about it! I asked the server to comp my meal but they only reduced price of the meal to one piece… don’t go here. Pictures say it all.

Was a Smittys for dinner with 5 friends tonight. I ordered the steak sandwich cooked medium and Cesar salad. It was the worse meal I have ever had there. The steak was extremely tough and the Cesar salad had tons of dressing and no bacon bits. Was very tasteless. The steak also had a hair in it. Bad dining experience.I did mention it to our waiter biut he just kept working and didn't acknowledge my comment.

Came in for breakfast, and it was amazing! Welcoming environment. Kelly, our server was so sweet, and she was absolutely amazing! The food was amazing with good sized portions!

Thoroughly disappointed in my recent visit. I have been coming here off and on since I have been alive and never have I been more disappointed in the service. Sat down 1010 server took our order 1015 by 1047 we still didn’t have our breakfast in front of us we ordered an omelette and a two egg bacon breakfast pretty simple order. We witnessed another table of at least 10 have half their food given to them and the other half waited over 5 mins for theirs. Food should be given to a table at the same time not 5 mins or more apart
We left at 1047 without eating paid for coffee and told our waitress who seemed very friendly but upset with the kitchen we cannot wait longer.

Never in my life have I waited over 30 mins for breakfast at a restaurant. Im very upset and my spouse was too. I hope the owners see this and make this right.

Been a couple times and LOVED the breakfast and the donuts! However we came in tonight and stood around for 5-10 minutes waiting to be seated while the lady in the other end of the room completely ignored us and continued to mop the floors. Nobody else in sight. We continued to get ignored until we eventually just walked back out. If mopping is more important than serving your customers I'm OUT!
