Very good poutine and butter tarts. I had the bacon poutine and pecan butter tarts. Poutine was very good but the bacon was more like a crumble. It would be better with quality bacon pieces. The gravy was a little bland. That said, still get good and worth having. They have over 100 choices. The butter tart was top notch. Sort of a short bread like crust gooey center but too runny.Will definitely go back.
Delicious vegan poutine! We got the deluxe and added tomatoes - strongly recommend doing this as the tomatoes really added a lot to the dish. They also have amazing butter tarts!

I really like the whistlestop overall as a place to work late into the night, and good prices, but the staff can be really hit and miss. Really tired stoner guy helping me who missed every other thing I said, charged me extra for an adjusted side when I said I only want that different side if it costs the same. Doing his best but either rough night or untreated adhd, taking an order on the phone for 10 minutes after taking my order, when I asked for a cup of water and normally...
