We wanted to have dinner before an event, and decided to try this place based on our love of Indian food and previous reviews. The initial impression was very strange, we walked in the dining door, down some stairs and there were several tables but no one in sight. I remembered a sign on the doorbell to ring for service, so we went back outside, rang and waited. A waiter showed up, seated us, and left us alone again lol. I recently had a bad experience at Sitara’s due to staffing issues BUT would like to say that they made everything right. They went well above my level of expectation and supplied superior service. They have restored my faith in customer service.
Very friendly waitress and owner who strived to make us happy.
A group of 8 were all very satisfied. Don't forget that you can order food that is not overly spicy if you prefer. I enjoyed the butter chicken and my wife enjoyed a lamb dish. Looking forward to my next visit .
