Visiting this restaurant was a Terrible experience I don’t usually do reviews on people business but I had to with this kind of experience. I’m Jamaican so I’m really disappointed, I work late and decided I’m going to find a good Jamaican restaurant to have some food to consume and I came across this restaurant I spent 25$ for a food and let me tell you the jerk chicken and rice was such a disappointment..! I had to throw it all away and go home to cook y’all need to take pride in what you do this is a bad reputation for Jamaican cuisine please do better.

Pickering finally has a real jamaican food restaurant. Authentic jerk chicken, rice and peas. They make everything fresh. Portions and the price make sense. You are getting what you pay for. The place is very clean. Staff is friendly.

The food here is amazing! It’s the best West Indian restaurant in Durham! The food is on point! Love it! The jerk chicken is better than what I have tasted in yaad! The curry was ecstatic… the seafood soup… fxxckin on point & amazing! Must try! Best jerk chicken in the east! Fresh made to order! Grilled to perfection! Must try! Been in Durham for years! & it’s the best spot!
Lately I come to the store to find a sign on the door that said “Be back in 15mins” . I waited then I called only for the person on the phone to tell me they will be open the next day.
So I came back the following day and the same sign in the door and the lights off. I thought okay so they must be going through something.
So I gave it one more shot and when I went to check again. Still closed…
