Dragon Rolls Japanese + Thai

I went here today with my 2 year old daughter. We weren’t even there for 1.5h and they took our iPad away. Then they started rushing us out. Staff are so rude and quality has gone down hill for sure. I will not be coming back

Fast, friendly service, plenty of options for a reasonable price!

Wow, the food is great at this place! We've eaten at several AYCE places in Toronto and GTA and it is the best; great and different variety, everything was tasty, even an extensive non alcohol drink menu as well as free pop along with water included in the price of the all you can eat. Discount for paying cash. It's the first time I've seen a tempura oreo cookie! We had to try it. Different but not bad.
The service was fast once we were served. Not terribly friendly but efficient. Customers were noisy and played their phones or talked loudly, kids cried. But I guess that's typical in a family type restaurant.
The ambiance was questionable, uneven and some places dark lighting and sketchy bathrooms (ie cold, very loud music, bad lighting). The Bellabot serving robot was adorable, busy and would be arguably better without the slightly offensive religious sticker on it.
We plan to be back. Maybe the atmosphere was just a one off, we will see next time.

This place is a rip off. Ordered pick up. Har gow shows in the online menu 4 normal sized dumplings, you get 3 small bite-sized. Steamed custard buns show as 3 normal sized buns, as you get in every Dim Sum restaurant or Asian bakery. These were 1.5 bites! The wonton soup was very bland and the wontons did not taste fresh. The spring rolls were 2 bite-sized and barely had any filling in them! The owners should be ashamed of themselves ripping people off like this. To top it off, the women that served us - not friendly at all. Don’t waste your money here. Far better places in Scarborough, worth the extra 20 minute drive.

A great place to bring the family for a variety of different foods. My husband loves sushi and I don't however their so many things for each of us to choose from! Most of the servers are nice but a few are a bit cold. Other than that, I would give it 5*

I have been going to Dragon Rolls for years! And I have to say their food remains very consistent. I normally don't go for the Thai items, just the sushi and appetizers. My kids love going for their shrimp tempura and cheese wontons.
It's one of the best all you can eat in Durham.

The server/staff’s name was either Jordan or Jeff.

He was perhaps one of the rudest staff members i have encountered at a dining place. Made zero eye contact, kind of tossed it over towards me without uttering a word. Didn’t even include cutlery or napkins in the take out bag.

We went for the AYCE. The food was ok and service was very slow. They got our order incorrect too.

The service is good here when they’re not busy. The staff is nice and helpful. However, when this restaurant is busy they tend to be veryyy slow and a lot of the ordered items may not get served.

Food is so tasty, specially double salmon roll, it comes fried cheese in, and their sashimi so fresh and tasty, the service so/so, depends who is working, not all of them has gd customer service.

Can get better quality sushi for this price point, but maki rolls were ‘alright’. Didn’t go for their AYCE menu, just ordered specific rolls. Do yourself a favour and never order their beef skewers, literally just deep fried rubber, soaked in oil, absolutely disgusting.

Service was decent. The place or maybe it was just my booth just had a strong smell of disinfectant/soap, kinda annoying when you’re trying to eat.

Sushi is fresh and tasty. Food comes out pretty fast! The robot serving you is too cute. Price is typical for all you can eat and there's lots of seating options. ?

Parking: It's a very busy plaza, so sometimes parking can be tricky unless you're willing to park a bit away from the doors.
