Best sushi for the price in Pickering. My go -to sushi takeout place. Their party trays are very reasonably priced. The owner and staff are always very pleasant and happy to see us when we come in.
I don’t understand how this place has the reviews saying it’s great. It’s terrible. Go ANYWHERE else. Grocery store sushi is better.It was so bad, we had to get a second dinner, because no one could bear to eat this flavourless sushi. The rice had zero flavour, and didn’t seem fresh. The different maki rolls we got either lacked flavour or were extremely small portions.On top of it all, the staff made it extremely confusing for what we could order as they have two different menus for lunch and dinner, and we could do either but different prices, etc, just over complicated.And then a forced tip added on to our bill quietly, before almost adding a tip on the debit machine.0/10, there’s no reason you want to eat here currently. It’s not a better value.

Incredible restaurant. Always clean. Food is great. I always get the Chicken Teriyaki on rice and it never disappoints. The spicy mayo sauce really tops everything off. When I get the sushi, it tastes fresh and delicious. Make sure to give thanks to Wendy she is the GOAT.
Ordered spicy salmon roll and there was no spicy anything. At the very least some spicy mayo on top would have been great.I wanted to give this place a try because it is so close to me but it just wasn't good. Blah!

Meh. We ordered two dishes; salmon bento box and salmon pizza. The avocado sushi that came with the bento box was good, but the rest was questionable...bento box looked more like rice with a couple of itty bitty sides and salmon pizza...well, let's just say the salmon was cooked. I was looking forward to sashimi like it usually is with this kind of dish - the advertisement was not reflective of the dish we received. We received the order via Doordash. Perhaps it's better in person.

I love this place.Amazing family run restaurant. The owners are an absolute delight. They are genuine and kind. The sushi is yummy and we've been coming here for years.

Subpar food. The maki is mostly rice, any crab meat inside the maki is only half of surimi stick. Sushi rice lacks seasoning. Salmon teriyaki was overcooked and very thin. Sashimi is poorly cut and fish has no flavour, most pieces are dry as if they’ve been unwrapped and exposed to air for too long. Asked for no octopus or ahi tuna restaurant could not accommodate and did not inform. Gyoza over fried, filling for Gyoza & springroll leaves more to be desired - they have white vinegar as Gyoza dipping sauce (what??!!). Tempura batter was not crispy, just hard and crusty. No love was put into this food. Would not order or dine here again.

Service is second to none!! The owner is the most sincere man operating a restaurant I've met. Food was high quality and prepared to perfection. Previous negative reviews must have been competition or somebody having a bad day. Busy place but patrons are well taken care of!!!Highly recommend ???

Friendly, delicous, inexpensive.Came here often for lunch with my friends! The food is delicious and filing. In additon, specials availible makes it an inexpensive place for sushi. At lunc time, for $9 I can get 12 pieces of salmon-avocado rolls; my favourite. The staff is very welcoming and friendly which makes going an even more enjoyable eperience.Vegetarian options: My friend who is vegetarian often dined on edamame or vegetable rolls, such as cucumber, avocado, or sweet potato.

The sushi was alright but the flavour could have been much better. There is no dessert with the all you can eat dinner and no avacado salad even though it was on the menu. The owner explained that there was no dessert because of the expense however, all the listed prices have been increased.
