We recently ordered catering from Usmania Grill for a large event, and it amazing. The food was exceptional including the chicken tikka, seekh kebabs and the fresh naan were warm.
Delivery was on time, everything arrived fully packaged and hot. If planning and catering for a big event, Usmania Grill is recommended.

Used them for quite a few of our family events and their service is fantastic!Waseem is always very respectful, polite and professional! Drived from Oshawa in snowy weather. Reached at 9:10pm. Waiter said their day going slow, so they will close early and only entertaining take out order. No dine in. She checked with kitchen and they said same. This is the first time I experienced restaurant sending customer away because their day went slow!! I was a regular customer there for last 3 years. Will think twice before going there again.

Ordered chicken biracial. got 1 small pc of chicken 2 bones and all rice. Ended up throwing it out after 5 spoons and chicken was done. What a waste of money 💰

Been here a couple of times and each time the experience was great. Our friend threw a party here for a large group and that too was very well managed.
Food wise their starters and gravy items are really good. The beef seekh is probably one of the best I've had in a while and would definitely recommend it. The nihari is another item which stands out. Within the biryanis my favorite is the lamb as it was mild but still flavorful.
The service here stood out on all occasions. In my recent visits Archana served us and her attention to detail and hospitality shows. Made our experience elevate.
Overall a pretty nice place for a casual evening dinner or to throw a desi feast for friends and family.

Bought 1 veal and 2 lamb Biriyani and 1 fish tikka. Veal Biriyanis were really good and veal Biriyani was not too bad. And fish was really good as well. Biriyani portions were nice and decent. But fish is little smaller. Please add few extra pieces of fish to the fish tikka order if you can for the customers. And atmosphere was just okay. Overall it’s a nice place to get food from.

This review is specific to their catering food only. I think Usmania might be the best place for catering. I've catered food twice from here for parties and everyone has loved it so far. My only criticism would be that the Haleem has a little too much Oil in it. Not sure why they do that since I'm sure the taate would be fine without that much oil. Their Biryani is too notch. Overall, I prefer their food over Zauq and also Karahi boys, which I recently catered from. The only place which might be even better than Usmania would be Karachi Pizza, which I tried last week. Karachi Pizza I believe has recently started catering business. Though Pizza Karachi's food is a bit on the spicier side which might not be everyone's cup of tea. Therefore, I think Usmania would be better choice in general

As of late, Usmania Grill has decided to cheap out on the meat for their curry dishes. You will order a chicken/beef curry dish and it will have 1 to 2 full meat pieces but the rest of it will be filled with bones, fat, and an overwhelming amount of curry. You are essentially paying for $20+ for sauce.
