Nice place, we had fish and fries, meatloaf and steak. Portions were good. Fish batter was was over cooked on the outside and under cooked on the inside. Fairly thick not light and crispy. Meatloaf was just ok . The kids ordered the steaks well done, but they were really well done to dry. Atmosphere and staff were great.

Bad food, left hungry, looked and tasted bland and service was horrible due to 2 workers in the whole place, I wouldn't be surprised if the server/bar tender/ buss girl was cooking the food and cleaning the dishes back there swell. Won't be back

Really clean, cute little “patio”. The fries were perfectly sized, the beer and drinks were good but I gotta say get the fish tacos!! They were somehow perfect. I highly recommend them. And pretty great prices, especially for touristic Picton.

They literally served me a rotten burger. Not exaggerating. They quite literally gave me an expired piece of meat to eat. It smelled awful and although on first glance I couldn’t tell it was rotten, the first bite confirmed it. I would like to think it was not intentional but the service leading up to it was awful so hard to imagine it wasn’t. The glowing reviews of this place leave me a bit puzzled but this was my experience.

Went to get take out at coaches last night first had very rude service on the phone didn’t ask for name or number just 15 minutes click then didn’t even get my order right and when I went to get it fixed the cook wanted to argue with me even though it was wrong made a new one and decided to be a dick and just barely even cook it smothered it in sauce to the point wasn’t even edible. Over packed in there had people leaning on the walls with drinks because they didn’t have seats. Little unsafe if a fire happened. For a local I won’t be supporting such a place.

The epitome of a small town pub that offers it all. We all had Nachos, Wings, East coast lobster roll and the Donair. We all shared and the debated which meal was best. The open mic night offered big city entertainment too.

Went to this place after attending a 4pm play. It was busy . Waiter took our order. Waited an hour and a half and no food. Found out the order ticket was lost.. very unorganized and unprofessional

Ordered the meatloaf...bland..bit like the service. Maybe it was just an off night. Not compelled to return.

Cold coffee/soggy cold fish n' chips: what!!?
"We couldn't read your minds" is the response we got when we asked to swap the cold coffee for a hot one. Wow!! Well, the waitress could feel the mug and even admitted it was the tepid dregs of the night AFTER we complained...geez.
Other restaurants looked so cozy and quaint along the street and we wish we had gone elsewhere...

Writing this while waiting on the bill. The server is lovely. The food is massively disappointing. Maybe have a drink here but I wouldn't ever order food here. Truth be told we won't be back. Save your money. Plenty of better places to eat. Garlic Parm wings came out plain. No sauce. We were told they put garlic and Parm in a saucepan on the stove rather than an actual sauce. The wings were dry as a bone and maybe had a salt on them. The turkey Swiss melt was cold. Melt implies heat would be applied. The soup was good. It's too bad really. Again the server was great. Kitchen needs attention.
