Plenty of dining options in Picton, this as one would expect, almost entirely seafood. The halibut special was generous and nicely cooked. The scallops (3) on risotto beautiful. The wontons - pass. Not sure why they were deep fried to a hard crust, they flew off the tiny plate as you tried to cut into them. The filling almost indistinguishable.

By way of feedback, the decor and lighting are really off putting. The track lights are pointed directly at guests seated on the wall side and I felt in the spotlight all night. The playlist feels like something out of a diner and there is no softness to the decor at all. Perhaps being Thanksgiving, but more servers are needed. Ours tried her best, but never returned to check on either course or offer a 2nd glass of wine as hinted at when we ordered the first one.

Super friendly and attentive staffs, very welcoming for families with young children. They had colouring books and stickers for the kids.
We enjoyed a nice fresh meal + local wine with friends.

Amazing restaurant. Food has never disappointed. Always super fresh and tasty. Love going with friends and family and tasting everyone's dish. It is a small cozy restaurant with an owner who cares about what leaves the kitchen.

Ordered fish and chips and trout. Service was prompt. Food came quickly and hot and was perfect. Batter thin and crispy.
Almond bark for dessert...what a treat!
A thoroughly enjoyable meal

Found the service a little slow in the beginning but evened out in the end. We ordered the fish and chips ($26) which was okay, and the Lobster Shrimp Roll ($32) which was also okay but the portions for both left a lot to be desired.

Fantastic restaurant right in Picton. The food is fantastic! I had the pan seared scallops with lemon herbed risotto. It was delicious and could easily tell it was made with love. Great appetizers and mains at a reasonable price. My go to restaurant when heading for dinner in Picton.

Ok, Chef Ramsey would have his work in store for himself in this place. The 2 of us had a reservation for 5:45 pm, way before any dinner rush. We got sat down at 5:50. It took 10 mins to get approached by anyone after that to take our drink, and as a precaution we decided to order a sushi grade tuna appetizer, that ended up being served on a won-ton, lobster ravioli that was more likely frozen and chefs seafood salad on pasta as we were not in the mood for any more delays or poor service. The tomato sauce had no zest, the mussels were puny, and I’ve given them a pass on the clams. Oh it took 35 mins for the food to get out of to us, and we anxiously waited 10 mins to get them to clear the table after we finished so we could ask for the bill. Price of the food isn’t worth it. Oh, the payment device’s tip default is 18%. 🙄 They try but don’t just don’t get it.

Very cheap quantities for the price. Asked cesar salad without bacon. Got bacon… asked to change it.. came back with no bacon on top but with a crumb of bacon at the bottom! What if someone is allergic and could die!

Best Seafood in Prince Edward County!

Always have an amazing dinner here! It's become a family favourite and we always walk away satiated and happy!
The arctic char is my pops' fave dish there and my mum loves the seafood fettuccine. Their risotto is incredible and consistent considering rule of thumb is never to order risotto in a restaurant. But I'm always happy here - the scallops are cooked to perfection and the risotto is the perfect consistency with a teeny chew which is how I like it with a beautiful broth. And you cannot even think of leaving without that beautiful ice cream sundae....

We have been ordering seafood from Blue Sail for years and they never disappoint. The quality is always A+ fresh and flavourful. Whether we are ordering for two or a party of twenty, everything is perfect. Their customer service is friendly, responsive, and reliable when preordering. We especially love their seafood boil kit - it comes with everything you need, including clear instructions, which makes it super easy and fun to prepare. The smoked trout dip also a fan favourite. Truly the best in the county.

Came sat on patio, 4 adults had the fish nchips, char, burger /seafood salad and risotto

Risotto rice was bit undercooked so crunchy lol...and could have had alot more lobster for the amount.

Rest seemed to enjoy.
