Good assortment of fast foods. Excellent fries and gravy. Pricing seems a little steep, but so is everything these days. There are enough picnic tables around to sit and enjoy.

I am from Milwaukee, referred here by a few locals, whom I have met online. I was told that I needed to get something called "Bridge Fries". Fries, themselves, have my attention. Add the term "bridge" and it becomes a curiosity. Because we were coming through town on our way to Niagara, this was now a special event for me. We arrived around lunchtime, so we came hungry. Albert's has the feeling of a small, quiet hole-in-the-wall, mom & pop shop, almost a "grab-n-go" (but with indoor seating), one that has been around for a number of years with a great local following. They boast that status with historic photos on the wall, including the early years of Albert's food truck. Want a souvenir t-shirt or a hat? They sell them. Want friendly staff? They have that, too. The young lady at the counter was quite pleasant and took our orders of Bacon Rancher Fries - 2 orders of "as they come", 1 order with Zesty Ranch, and couple of soft drinks. We had driven over 430 miles to get to this point (although only passing through) but this was a stop that I, personally, needed to make and it was not a disappointment. It is a wonderful portion of simple straight-cut fries, loaded (and I do mean LOADED) with cheese, bacon, and Ranch sauce. I opted for the Zesty Ranch, which was awesome! Albert's is connected with Suzy's Ice Creamporium, so it can easily be made into a lunch, then a treat. Unfortunately, we did not have time, nor room for ice cream, but definitely next time. I have heard good things about Suzy's, as well. This will be a scheduled stop on our next trip through town.

These guys are AWESOME. We have been going to Alberts for years, since their chip truck days. We moved from Sarnia to the east coast a few years ago, we have yet to find fries that compare to Alberts. Every time we are back in town for a visit we get Alberts, Specifically the dill pickle fries!

Normally this place is good but not today. About 1-1/2 to 2 hours after we eat the fries I started vomiting on my way house. Diarrhea thank god didn’t start till I got home. I can't tell you how many time I threw up and still am going to the bathroom. It started later for my wife and she is still running to the washroom. Bad grease I believe is the cause. Hoping it doesn’t go all night. What a waste of a great sunny day. I’ll think twice about going back there. Oct 23/22 9:20 pm

Not much to say besides that it's a classic little place with an appetizing menu of chip truck food (which I understand is how this business got its start) that conveniently is attached at the hip to the local's favourite ice cream shop. It all fits together nicely. I had the sausage on a bun with their famous fries and I was not at all disappointed. There's a number of close by spots to sit outside when the weather is agreeable, also. Bring the family. The prices were good too.

We went for my birthday on the 18th. My friend ordered mayo ketchup pickles lettuce relish mustard. His mom and dad got what they ordered I got wilted soggy lettuce, a flat burger that was like it had been manhaldled so bad their was hand print on my bun and fries so hard they broke my toothpick. And my friends burger wrap said no pickles and no onion. He even wrote down the orders and showed them and that's what my friend got. Worst experience I've ever had at Alberts, it functioned better years ago as a chip truck, deeply disappointed and will never eat their again if that's the low quality that's been sunken too.

5.60$ including tax. What a deal for cooked potatoes I would be ashamed to serve anyone. No flavour to be found and mushy texture. They weren’t very nice to look at either. I don’t know for the life of me why these guys are still making money? Perhaps nobody knows what good fries are anymore?

Great fries and very tolerant staff

Quality chips cooked properly. The poutine was good, maybe the cheese could have been slightly more melted. Gluten free options lol. Nice location to sit and watch the boats go by while eating.
