This place is not customized for any dietary requirements. I was shocked to not able to order a simple garden salad with possibly 3 or 4 options for the dressing on the side. If anyone with food allergies or restrictions decides to go, they'd better not! The red wine was terrible and it tasted like that the bottle was opened a few days ago. So a waste of $13.95 on that!

Thank you, Match Eatery & Public House - Point Edward, for another fantastic dining experience. I made an online reservation at 5:30pm on Sunday, July 6, 2025 and when I arrived early at 5pm, I was told that we could be seated right away in the indoor standard seating section and within half an hour, we were enjoying our delicious Cajun Chicken dinner. I also enjoyed a refreshing lemon raspberry soda, perfect on a beautiful summer day, glancing out the windows and the waterfront, where boats went passing by. Thank you to our server, for your prompt service. It was a pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon and evening.

Excellent service, talented musician and tasty food. We had the blackened chicken Ceasars salad and chicken Thai bites. Something to nibble on during the 4th of July fireworks.

So it is July 1 2025 and my friends and family thought we would visit for a few drinks and some food. The patio had a 45 minute wait and the main dining room and bar was closed. We couldn't believe it!!! Its Canada Day, really??!!! I am sure if it was open, many people would have come in to enjoy it. I just thought how cheap this place is, couldn't even bother to have the restaurant open, pay the extra wage for working on the holiday. It's not as if the place couldn't afford it, given all the money they make off of customers in the casino. My party were really disappointed. We will probably not return again or recommend this place to anyone.

Every time we go here we wait forever for food.Today was the icing on the cake, waited 45 minutes for food and when it came out it was cold.
Felt so bad for the poor waitress, she was the only one working. Very understaffed….

The food was very good, however the waitress was not a great experience. The first time we went we had a waitress that was happy , jovial and so attentive. The last 2 times we have gone, we had the same waitress and same experience. The waitress was abrassive, argumentative and very dismissive! We will not be returning do to this experience. Very disappointing!

I’ve ordered on skip twice and the second time things were missing and food was below average. I’ve tried to call them multiple times and there is no answer. Left a message and never received a call back.

Once again, this prime location on Sarnia's waterfront is completely understaffed. It has been this way for years, especially in the summer. On any given day there can be multiple tables available and yet seating will be 30 minutes or more because of a lack of staff. Today, again, half of the interior restaurant was empty and yet no seating available. I am tired of the excuses, when a large restaurant just down the street is fully staffed on all days. Obviously this must not be a terrific place to work as this seems to be an ongoing problem. The casino should remove their license and replace the restaurant with a more successful track record.

My dinner salad was missing some ingredients. When I asked the server I was told that I was wrong. I rechecked the menu at home and I was right about the missing ingredients.

A little disorganized but in the end it all came together. It wasn't all the server issue. It was busy and it took quite some time for our order.

Prices average , beware the 7% service charge added on if you are in a group!
Waitress must have been busy because she kept dashing off in between every request from the group, so it took twice as long to order what we wanted, get it served and then get the bills
If you want the small burger special, make sure you order before 5.30 because even if you arrive there earlier, if the order isn’t taken until 5.40 ( even if it was because the waitress wasnt around to take the order until then) you won’t get that special!

I’ve gotta be honest in the past I haven’t been impressed. View has always been great but I’ve been disappointed in the food and service BUT last three times we’ve gone it has been great service and great food. Will definitely go again

Always taken care of by Crystal and her lovely staff 👍 their waterfront view is hard to beat just like the casino lol cannot wait till the outdoor patio and bar!

If you dont eat meat and cheese the menu basically has almost no options. Maybe a few vegetables on the menu would be ideal.

Our experience was perfect. We had 20 women and the service was very good. They assigned us 2 waitresses and the food was delivered on time and delicious. Well done, I’m sure it’s not easy with a crowd!
