Amazing place,,picked up our fish and walked over to the tables on the water. fish was amazing
The market might be good but the fish n chip place blows. Mccain fries? Cmon man. This is Sarnia the home of fresh cut fries. $26. Portions were good. Slaw was good. Fish was meh. No flavour to the batter. Save your money. Sorry Purdys but you gotta step it up to get my business again.
Delicious
Always delicious and fresh.
People complain it's pricey, it's fresh caught pickeral large portion . Friendly staff awesome place to sit .IT'S NOT PRICEY ! I will keep going back .
Service was pleasant and friendly, fish and chips were perfect and I love their coleslaw...sadly I won't be back in Sarina till next year, but this will be one of our stops for sure!!!
We love fish and chips and fresh fish
This place is connected to Purdue Fisheries, they catch the fish in Lake Huron and serve them next door at restaurant. You sit at picnic tables right next to the St. Clair River looking across to Port Huron, Michigan.
Went after hours to fish. Great time
Fresh. Delicious. Great view and place to eat it as well. Highly recommend if you're visiting out of town to check it out.

Always delicious!!!
I made a special trip to go there and I will say I thought it was just OK. The place I go to in Windsor is considerably better.
A coworker recommended Purdy’s for fish and chips so I ordered the pickerel dinner on Good Friday. It was absolutely incredible. Very generous portion, great taste and top quality. Definitely found a new favourite!
Excellent fish and chips, but somewhat pricey (26$ April 2025)
Highly recommend. Big portions
