We really enjoyed the mushroom matar, chili chicken, naan, papadum and dessert. Our server Harpreet was very friendly, answered all of our many questions.

Not sure how they got 4.5 rating. Visited 30 min back and was really disappointed by the overall experience. The ginger tea was poorly made – weak and lacked any real flavour. But what really stood out was the rude behaviour of the owner. Instead of addressing concerns politely, their attitude was dismissive and unprofessional.

The only positive was the server, Raman. She was courteous, attentive, and tried her best to make us feel welcome despite the rest of the experience.

Wouldn’t recommend unless there’s a serious change in how customers are treated.

I had a wonderful experience at Sitara Indian cuisine. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I had dosa n onion kulcha here .I came with my Canadian client but I ordered indian food n he also liked the food .food was fresh n hot served with love.
Ambience was prefect for beautiful evening.
The manager Rahim if I m writing his name right was too gud in his job he carefully tooked our order n was fast enough the put the first dish on table.
His co-worker raman was kind n was greeting with smile whenever we were approaching her for items we want.
A great evening with beautiful people serving us.will come back again.

I recently had dinner at Sitara Indian Cuisine in Point Edward, and it was truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The restaurant strikes the perfect balance between a comfortable setting and authentic Indian charm. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the evening.

The food was absolutely exceptional. Every dish was prepared with care, offering rich, bold flavors that stayed true to authentic Indian cooking. We started with Pani Poori—fresh, crisp, and bursting with tangy flavors. The Chana Bhatura was another standout, with soft, fluffy bhatura and perfectly spiced chickpeas.

For mains, we enjoyed Garlic Naan, and Daal Makhni. Each bite was a treat— the garlic naan fresh from the oven, and the daal makhni creamy and comforting, just as it should be.

Overall, Sitara delivers not just a meal but a complete experience of authentic Indian hospitality and cuisine. I highly recommend this place to anyone in or around Point Edward looking for genuine Indian flavors. I will definitely be visiting again soon!
