Wow! Hidden gem. Found this place wheb we went to town while camping nearby. So good! Our group had the chicken burger, fish and sweet potato fries and a few vegetarian appetizers. Very delicious! Can't wait to return, awesome food cooked right!

Overpriced. Fries were decent but had to ask them to remake them as first ones were either burned or double fried. Perch was nothing special and pretty small. Smoked beef was poor. Truly nothing special and considering it’s $20 for a combo, we expected more. Chicken nuggets were processed low quality nuggets.
Weekend brunch- nothing fancy, but really kind and welcoming. Sausages, bacon, eggs, potatoes and pancakes and coffee- $13.50. Nice backyard feeling, I’d go back.

Going to Big Joes is like going to a family reunion with your favorite uncle on the grill..... I had the brisket, hot off the grill with a good cold coleslaw in every bite. Yum! A small business that cares about its community and if youre there in high season or holiday weekend, chill out! This isnt a big box assembly line, but rather good people making good food for each person when ordered. Shake Big Joes hand (if he has time!), say hi to his partner in her store next door, and just enjoy being in a great spot with great company (and if your company is lousy, find a local!).....worth any wait that there might be on busier days! I dont leave comments often, but I stumbled on a gem passing through town. My family will make a point of going to Port Burrell this summer (2022) from Toronto a few times just to visit Big Joes!
