Turtle Jack's Port Carling

This is a great place for both food and atmosphere. Service can be slow but they are super busy.I also had the pleasure of working here one summer.The owner and manager are great people. My only complaint/recommendation is do not move in early. You will hear your bosses talking loudly about things that will make you uncomfortable as a new employee. (Not the GM or owner).Work here, eat here, it's great. But if you're working there give yourself a few days to come in if you're new

Stopped by for lunch while driving around on holiday here. The patio is super scenic and the waitress was happy to serve us out there even though nobody else was outside (there had been some rain showers in the morning), which we appreciated. However, the prices, my gosh. What a tourist trap. $28.95 for a burger with bacon and cheese?? $27.95 for a California turkey sandwich - add $3 more if you want avocado too? $25.95 for their salads? When we visit Port Carling, this is the place we go when we are hungry. This was our second visit to the place and our parents were accompanying us. They really loved the chicken quesadilla, so we ordered it one more time. The chicken burger was more than enough for our tummy, and the taste was good, too.
