Archie's Subs and Eatery

I’d just like to start by saying if your business resides right across the street from a grocery store… the least you can do is go there and get fresh mushrooms. I tried Archie’s for the first time today, a chicken parm sub and my husband got the steak sub. To start with, the woman on the phone was short with us and was noticeably unwelcoming to speak with. Nothing was more apparent than the fact that she’d rather be anywhere else but at work. As if that was bad enough, the chicken was almost totally inedible due to being severely overcooked and rubbery in texture I couldn’t finish my sub I had to tap out. My husband couldn’t finish his steak sub either because it was soooo salty. And even the mushrooms are 100% canned mushroom! The only good thing was the bread, it was nice and soft. But at $20 per sub I’m not paying to scoop out the inside contents and canned mushrooms just to eat the bun. If I’m paying quality price, give me some quality product. We will not be back unfortunately.

Yesterday for dinner I ordered something new on the menu it was an appi platter. The options were small or large.
I got the small, and oh my god it was delicious! And I even had enough left over for lunch!
The small came with 2 chicken strips and my choice of 4 different apps! I chose Mac and cheese bites/battered mushrooms/cheese balls and deep fried pickles! The portion size was fantastic! The large one is 4 chicken strips and 6 apps!! I will most definitely order this again. I hope this option stays on the menu permanently as I love having a selection of different things to have at meals :) Archie’s has always been our favourite place to order subs (the torpedo is our go to) but this platter is my new favourite haha. Thank you for the fast friendly service even when you were short 1 staff member in a heat wave 🥵

I've never had issues here I come from out of town you get large portions from subs sad to hear about the uncleanness but last time I was there I got that vibe. You'd new kids not wearing plastic gloves making subs turned me off

These subs are fantastic! Huge portions with an incredible amount of meat ! Could only eat half of the 8” Torpedo. So good

I ordered two sub platters from Archie's for a training I was doing at a local facility and the service was exceptional and the delivery was prompt and the sandwiches went over so well with my customers that I will definitely go back to Archie's

I suggest you fix your phone so people can call you especially when they find bugs in their food like my partner did.. a whole bug moving around in the sub.. trying to call and tell you and I go straight to voicemail and it says it's full...

We were charged double than the prices on the website. The owner, very aggressively stated that she cannot stay in business by charging the prices on the website so she has to charge more than that. Maybe she comes up with the prices depending on how expensive your clothes and your car is? Also, the tip option on the payment screen was stuck to 15%, you could not choose a different option.
Sadly, this is another one of those places that is going to close soon.
