New to town, couldn’t wait to try. Was not disappointed. The pulled pork sandwich was great and the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich was even better. Great fries too.

I finally got to eat here.
I work most days they are open. I finally had a Thursday off. It was well worth the wait. Had the brisket sandwich. Let me tell you it was amazing. So tender and juicy. The baked beans & Mac & cheese was also great. I would highly recommend this place. Awesome job guy’s. Will definitely be back.

I had a backyard wedding reception last Saturday and had backroad BBQ cater our event. Brenda was on top of everything before the event and made sure we had everything we needed! The girls Kristie, Tracey, and Mandi were absolutely incredible and so helpful. They made the night run very smooth and were very professional. Not only did they do a phenomenal job serving everyone, but they were happy to be doing it and that really made our night! The food was awesome, warm and plenty to go around! Everyone loved the food. They also went above and beyond to pack up all the food to make sure none of it was wasted! Ryan was our bartender and he was also happy to be there which was awesome to see! Thank you backroad for catering our event. We hope to throw another big party again soon, because we will definitely be hiring you guys! Thanks for making our day so memorable :)

Brisket was fresh and the right level of juicy.

We hired Backroad BBQ for our wedding and it was outstanding! Great communication and prompt responses from Anthony, and the food was delivered slightly ahead of schedule, which we appreciated. The mac and cheese addition to our menu was a hit. Both the chicken and beef brisket were amazing! If you are looking for a company for a large event, we can't recommend them enough (we had dinner for 125 people). Our guests loved it!

Stopped by Backroad Barbecue Company in Port Colborne with high hopes for some classic smoked comfort food. I went all in with the full rack of ribs, and while the BBQ sauce hit the mark with its tangy, smoky flavour, the ribs themselves didn’t quite deliver — a bit too tough and overcooked for my liking. I was hoping for fall-off-the-bone tender, but they leaned more toward chewy.

My wife ordered the two-meat combo with brisket and fried chicken, and both were just… okay. The brisket lacked the melt-in-your-mouth texture we were expecting, and the fried chicken didn’t really stand out — not bad, just kind of average. The sauces were solid, but they couldn’t quite make up for the lack of tenderness and excitement on the plate.

It’s a cool little spot with a great concept and a lot of potential — but based on this visit, the flavours need a bit more attention to match the inviting atmosphere.

$31.99 for brisket that was so incredibly dry. So disappointing. The staff however was very lovely, and there were a lot of people in, so maybe we just ordered the wrong thing! The cornbread was amazing!!

Tremendous Value! Had the 2 meat platter with Brisket, Pork Ribs, fries, beans and slaw. Brisket was outstanding. Only criticism is there should be BBQ sauce on the tables.

The meat is fantastic. Fries are great, mac and cheese tastes like it came from a box, coleslaw and beans are criminally under seasoned/no flavor. Maybe theyre catering to the older folks who cant have seasoning with their meds?

Ordered takeaway option 1, for a family event. The food was outstanding, delicious, perfectly cooked, plentiful and was so pleasing to our guests. I would highly recommend this restaurant, And I’m positive I will be ordering from them again soon!

We hired Backroad BBQ to cater our wedding a few weeks ago and had been customers of theirs beforehand! The food is always so amazing and a crowd favourite! Our guests were commenting all night how it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding and the service was great.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Brenda who was our lead for catering for our wedding. Brenda was so amazing to work with, attentive, organized, and great at communicating! From the planning calls, to taking and submitting orders, to liaising with our vendors for apps, desserts, and linens, to picking up the desserts and apps the day of the wedding for us, to putting on an amazing dessert display, and setting up the beautiful tableware, Brenda made the experience so smooth and stress free for us! We were in such good hands with her. Backroad is so lucky to have her as part of their team and she takes such great care of her couples! Thank you Brenda!!!
