Small portions, higher prices. Saw other online recommendations so tried this restaurant everyone in my party were disappointed.
Friendly service in a picturesque location. Food was good but the strawberry salad was very small for the price.
Decent food, friendly service, I especially like the area and decor which reminds me of back home out east ❤️
Great location to sit and watch the boats go by! we got the flatbread, wasn’t anything special! But the service and beverages were amazing!
We throughly enjoyed our lunch yesterday. We were lucky to get a table right by the canal and two HUGE freighters passed by within metres of our table! Food was fresh and excellent. Service was great. We will be back!
We had a group of us for a birthday party. The food was so good and the atmosphere amazing. Our waitress was Amanda and she was engaging and fun! Her smile definitely won us over!
One of my wife's and I favourite spots in port! Great ambiance next to the canal! Staff are friendly and attentive! The owner is always making sure patrons are having quality service and food!! Always have menu changes and items fresh from our local market! Thanks for always making our nights out fantastic!!!
The worst service I've ever had, the waitress Kelly was so rude, never checked on us and had other people do her job. A nice younger girl sat us, brought our food and we had to ask her for the bills, where a different man came to give them to us. It took 20 minutes to get water, and another 50 to get our food. The wraps were falling apart and stale and the soup was super small. Very disappointing and will not be returning
We stayed at the Canalside Inn while seeing a show at the Roselawn Theatre. Has its own restaurant and is perfectly located near many other restaurants. Also, a nice short walk to the theatre. Large, comfortable rooms with views of the canal and lift bridge. Had a drink and a snack at the restaurant, nice place and the Berry Blast was great but both the Long Island Iced Tea and Rum and Diet Coke were flat; fries and onion rings were good.
Canal day’s Monday lunch, fabulous lobster 🦞 rolls, roast beef 🥩, sweet potato 🍠 fries 🍟! Delicious 😋! First time visiting, definitely 👍 will return! Thank you ☺️

Definitely surprised and disappointed. For $22 I thought the Thai salad with chicken would have been a meal size, rather than an appetizer plate. Surprising!
Great ownership
Had a last min cancellation for a planned trip, and Greg, the owner, was very accommodating and understanding. Offered to let us stay at a future date.
5 stars for this place.
Stopped for a break and enjoyed the view and a beverage. Nice place!
Food was great & server was very friendly.
