This place is a gem!! Fresh fish cooked in light crispy batter, good fries and good size portion. The pickerel and perch just melts in your mouth what a delicious fish.

Visiting local friends, we took a short jaunt to Port Colborne to visit Minor Fisheries. Not only can you purchase the freshest fish to take home, but their fish platters are some of the best I've eaten. What I especially like about our meal? The perch and pickerel coating is so light and crisp...just enough to enhance the fish with a good crunch. It was a bit chilly so the doors were down on the enclosed eating area, but we could see through to the Welland Canal and watch a tanker float by. After eating, take a walk along the Canal road..so many cute shops to check out.

This is a one of a kind fish and chips place. They use fresh fish and they are not soaked in oil. The food was tasty but, a bit pricy. The customer service was good and I would definitely recommend this place for visitors.

Parking: For now, it's only take out option is available. They are renovating a sitting area and it's under construction.

I go to Minor Fisheries from Niagara Falls at least twice a month for the perch. It is the best. Superior to Port Dover. There is always a line up but the food and service are worth it.

Fabulous fish dinner. The fish has a very light, crunchy batter. Fries are obviously fresh cut. The coleslaw is delicious as well. I'll be back.

I've never been to the place and just grabbed take away for my roommate who raves about it. Showed up on time and all the machines were down. Just a fluke. Frustrating if you work on that side, I'm sure. Despite the difficulties of that all of the staff were amazing and doing their best to accommodate everyone. Sure I had to wait a bit but I was well taken care of and stole some fish from my roommate's meal on the ride home. Next time I'll be ordering for myself as well. Shout out to the staff and the lady at the window that served me while balancing everything. You guys are great and I'll be back next week. Hopefully patrons were understanding of the situation. Easily the best fish I ever had and it was worth the MINOR difficulties of internet going out. Go check them out 100%.

Amazing, amazing, amazing perch and pickerel. I had the Fisherman's Combo (I believe it was called).The container was filled to the brim with several pieces of perch and two sizeable pickerel fillets, scallops, calamari, shrimp and fries for a smidge over $22. All cooked to perfection and delicious. It fed me for 2 days and reheated wonderfully in my air fryer the 2nd day.My husband had the Buffalo Chicken Fingers and said they were filling and very good.The staff is just lovely. Friendly and welcoming and warm. A truly wonderful representation of Port Colborne.
