The Breakfast Barn Diner

First time to this Breakfast barn.. Lol Great food, great service. Just need perked decaf coffee Will return.

This is a local favourite so I thought I would try it out. Food was average for bacon and eggs. I asked for rye, no butter, got brown, buttered. No biggie. It was the service that bothered me. I am not sure if it because we weren’t regulars, but we were waved to a table when we came in, it took some time to drinks, questions were answered with ‘ya’. We had 2 people serving us, neither smiled, or provided more than a one-word answer. It wasn’t an inviting atmosphere in my opinion.
The reason for the 3 star for atmosphere- cute place, fits the barn decor but the cowbell on the door was loud every time someone went in and out. This may not bother some people, but for those with any audio sensitivity, or prefer conversation during breakfast, don’t sit near the door.

My husband and I live in Port colborne and love to go to breakfast every once in a while! We have tried Breakast Barn time and time again. Each time I always have the same complaint... the service sucks. Food is good and prices are reasonable but there are better breakfast locations in Port related to service.

The breakfast barn has existed longer than I have and that says something about the place. You guys keep doing great jobs!

Best breakfast place to go, even the turkey club is made with real roast turkey, it’s not breakfast but love it.

Really cute diner that’s family run by some hard working ladies. Service is always spot on even when it’s busy. I travel and dine out a lot and this restaurant is top tier for service and food is great. Very attentive staff that really enjoy their jobs and it shows. Keep up the great work, I would highly recommend Breakfast barn.

As a regular, this place is ALWAYS PACKED! Get there early! The staff are the friendliest like literally everyone knows your name! The food is beyond comfort and DELICIOUS! All this at such reasonable prices! If you are visiting Port Colborne you definitely need to check out this awesome restaurant! You will NOT be disappointed. It’s a vibe for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅

I was born and raised in Port Colborne but have not lived here for years. I am "back home" for a week or two. I took myself out for breakfast this morning.

I saw reviews for The Breakfast Barn and decided to try it out. And I took the advice to "upgrade" to the perogy home fries. ABSOLUTELY the right decision. The eggs benedict were amazing. The peameal bacon hung over the sides of the English muffins. They were generous with the hollandaise sauce.

Awesome breakfast. Great portions. I couldn't "quite" eat it all. But it was amazing. If I'm back in Port Colborne again, I will come back. I may even come back before I head back up north to go back home.

I can't believe I've lived in PC for almost a decade and never been here before. Food was AMAZING and modestly priced. Service was fantastic. It is cash only but that may be how they keep great prices so I'm not going to complain about it, just an FYI to anyone planning on going. They do have an ATM in the restaurant though if you miss a bank on the way in. I had the perogie style potatos and I can't rave enough about them. Hubs and I will be returning soon.
