The Smokin' Buddha Reviews
Always amazing food! Always aMazing
service, excellent options
This place never disappoints us. The welcoming staff are amazing. The owners pay attention to what we like and always make sure to check in when they are there. The food is amazing. We bring our out of town friends here all the time and recommend this little family owned restaurant to everyone.
I ordered the beef and bean burrito - it had zero beans, was soggy and was tasteless. The waitress, who claimed to have worked there for 3 years, was quite snarky. Not a positive experience.

The Smokin' Buddha is a charming restaurant known for its delicious and consistently good food that satisfies various palates. The service is friendly and down-to-earth, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Notable dishes include tandoori chicken wings, Korean noodles, udon soup, and the Mongolian Beef bowl, which is praised for its tender beef and orange citrus taste. During winter, it offers a small, cozy room filled with delightful scents and music, while in summer, guests can enjoy a large outdoor patio overlooking the Welland Canal. The restaurant is recognized for its staff's camaraderie and attentive service. The menu features a great variety, including crab Rangoon that is almost a meal in itself, Poke bowls, and a chicken pad thai with perfectly cooked noodles and plenty of chicken, tofu, and bean sprouts, along with a hint of spice. The restaurant has limited indoor seating but boasts a large patio, which is a favorite spot for many visitors. Guests appreciate the diverse menu, reasonable prices, and the opportunity to try interesting non-alcoholic beer options. Some feedback mentions that the water served can be warm on hot days, and the women's washroom has a strong chemical smell. The restaurant decor is nice and thoughtfully decorated, with antique bicycles hanging from the ceiling and unique scrapbook-style designs under the glass tabletops. Overall, it remains a popular and relaxing place to enjoy a tasty meal and good atmosphere.
