I absolutely love the food at this small quaint restaurant. It was nice that the chef Dwayne came out to our table to make sure everything was done perfectly. The food, service and atmosphere makes this one of my favourite restaurants.
We went on a Wednesday evening and that was a mistake the hamburgers that we got seemed to be pre-cooked and very dry and I believe they were counting on different sauces to make the burgers taste good they didn't because we didn't want the sauces. It's a beautifully done facility and the service was just Splendid. I don't think we will go back.

My wife and I had an excellent dinner at Schofields last night. The escargot was mushroom stuffed with a tasty cheese topping. Our entree’s came out quickly, because we told the server we were hungry. Both plates were piping hot. The two piece English style fish and chips was crisp and tasty as I ever got in England. The fettuccine Alfredo was hot and hearty. The server was very attentive and to our pleasant surprise the chef came to our table and asked about our food. Not sure if that would happen if the restaurant was full by it was a nice touch. We had to drive 50km to get there but we will be back.

What an absolutely wonderful bistro right in the heart of Port Dover. The decor was so tastefully done, the washroom was clean, the service was great and the food was just delicious. How we missed this place before I don't know but we will have try the dinner menu to see if it is as good as the brunch we had. The only suggestion I would have is add or offer asparagus as an option for the crab cakes benedict. We will be back though to try dinner. Best eggs benedict in a long, long time. Great job.

The servers are polite, the owner has a friendly face, and the Chefs made sure I enjoyed my order. All of this made my experience phenomenal, I would definitely recommend and come again.

Excellent staff who seem to really care about where they work I believe Emily was the name of our server and incredible food!We highly recommend eating here! I had the escargot and beef tenderloin medallions because I have heard such great things about them and she got crispy caulifower and the chicken parm which was out of this world! (I had a bite).We had a wonderful evening out.Although, we were quite shocked with how loud the lighthouse theatre is during the show. We didnt mind as it was a leisurely time away for ourselves. We watched a group of 6 people get up and leave before their food came due to the noise from the theatre. I could only imagine how that would affect a small business like this. We also overheard a table talking about getting a discount for food if you say something is wrong with it. Which, in my opinion is absolutely disgusting behaviour from those older ladies who really had nothing nice to say about the great looking food they got.We had a wonderful conversation with the owners. They are very kind people who made sure we were satisfied and could not apologize more about the sound from the theatre.Staff 10/10Owners 11/10Food 10/10Atmosphere 8/10 (they dont deserve a lower rating for another companies noise. They cant help it.)Return? 10/10 will be back.
Steaks are frozen and don't come out rare or medium rareEDIT* I will explain a bit more, sorry.We came for a family members birthday. (September 17th around 5pm) It was most people's first time there. But I heard really good things, so maybe expectations were a bit too high.Overall, it was a good time. My plate was fine and the same with my dads and sister, didn't really have anything wrong, but at the same time, for the price and expectations, it wasn't really that great either.Now, the 2 other patrons ordered a rare and blue-rare steak. Both steaks came out pretty ridiculous ? some parts of the steak were so overcooked that it was like cardboard. Other parts of the same steak were "rare" but freezing cold. The steaks also had no color or flavor. We all tried it and agreed with them. It was like only half the stove was on while cooking it.Our server was amazing. Honestly, bless her soul. I know how hard it is when something like this happens because it isn't her fault. And she was lovely. She gave our dog fresh water and was happy and friendly. We told her about the steaks, and EVEN SHE LOOKED SHOCKED. she took it back, then came back out to our table and told us straight up, she apologizes but the steaks are frozen, and it is hard to get them rare. But they still had to pay for their steak dinners, but they could get a free burger.. the steaks were a lot more expensive, but whatever. But then the burgers were dry ? there was no winning.But anyways, like I said over all Was good time, but I just won't order steak ever. Drinks were good. Sitting on the sidewalk patio was fun for us. we don't mind people walking by and motorcycles zooming by, but if you want something quiet or don't want people smoking cigarettes around you while you're eating, then you might want to find a different place.

Was wanting to celebrate Thanksgiving last night so I went and got take out. The soup was cold and not very tasty. The Turkey dinner was also cold and sure not much food for the price. Have taken out lots of take out under the old owner and it was fantastic.
