I have had two bad experiences in a row with this establishment within the last week.
First, a few days ago I came through town just for boba tea on my lunchbreak. 3:20pm I arrive and they were not open despite their posted hours being “open at 3pm”.
The second time I made sure to come later so they were actually open. The server was outside making chitchat with someone, it felt like I was interrupting a social call with my attempted patronage with the glare I received from the both of them. Not a great start.
She then proceeded to tell me that pretty much every flavour was out. So I ask for the most common kind of bubble tea, black milk tea and brown sugar. I got what is pictured. Pretty sure there’s no milk in it, it looks like brown sugar water. The beige one beside it that my friend ordered? Matcha. Matcha is green… this also did not taste like matcha. This woman was obviously confused.
We tried to finish the weird “Matcha” one but tapped out. The black one is literally water with brown sugar syrup in it, that’s it. It tastes like kinda sweet water and nothing else. What???
Just, wow! I would hope that an establishment solely catered to serving bubble tea would be able to create the most common order of it correctly. We will not be returning.

Run by a really nice lady and her partner, I stopped in because I had a craving for Boba. I had a delicious taro cream tea with brown sugar pearls. Refreshing and delicious. I hope to return again when I’m in town!

If you’re from Port Hope or passing by this summer, this is an absolute must. Since covid Port Hope hasn’t been quite the community it used to be and through owner efforts is pulling us back together. They’re open late and have various pop-up events which is not normal for our small town and definitely appreciated. The owner came and sat down with us and had an amazing conversation about the business and their goals, he makes an effort to know his customers. If you bring your large cup back you get $2 off. This place can’t be beat and don’t miss out while it’s here!!

Honestly 15/10. It can’t be beat. Service is amazing. I’ve had so many conversation with the owner and I’ve even seen him sit with a customer and just talk over his meal. The vibes and great and I love how if you bring the cup back you get a discount. There is something for everyone to try and I have never heard any complains from friends when I convince them to tag along for the adventures (they always want to come back)
