We chose to celebrate our 52nd Anniversary at the Lviv Cafe. What a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was quick, friendly and courteous! We felt so special when the staff surprised us with a scrumptious piece of honey cake! Your thoughtfulness made our Anniversary an occasion to remember and we are very thankful.

This is a wonderful home-feeling place with one of the nicest and friendliest waitresses that we have ever come across. We did not catch her name but she made us feel like we were dining at home, as did the other patrons who were also dining there at the time. All of the food we had was delicious and we did not go home hungry.

Found this place on accident - was so pleasantly surprised! Such an amazing and cozy place, cute interior, incredible and friendly service, great people! Food and pastries are the best! We went for a weekday brunch. What a pleasant surprise it was! The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes without sacrificing on quality. The service was also great. We got 4 of the baked goods (a spiced beef pastry, a mushroom and cheese pastry, a ham and cheese pastry, and a chicken pastry)and 2 lattes. We got there just before the lunch rush, so we were able to get a seat. It's probably best to make reservations just in case.
We'd like to come back often except we live in Ottawa. This is a jewel of Port Hope. Their food is just fantastic.
