The kitchen and the server were out of sync. The wrong appetizer came but it also came after our mains were served. $40.99 for some dried pork that wasn't very tasty. The Chicken Kiev was good but served with hammered veggies. Server didn't know food ingredients when asked. Under staffed. It took 10-15 to place a drink order. I had high hopes but won't be returning

What a pleasant surprise. After reading several positive reviews, we thought we would try out the Cafe for a dinner before attending the theatre. Food selection was great - tough to make a selection based on what was on the menu. We tried a variety based on our servers recommendations. Food was awesome, portions were great and memorable. We will be back again to enjoy more of the Ukrainian dishes. Lviv also has a nice private selection of wines curated to complement the dishes offered. Tanya was superb. Attentive, professional and offered many insights on selections. Super prompt and very pleasant meal.

We had a lovely lunch at Cafe Lviv to celebrate my husband's birthday - soup and salad followed by Napoleon cake accompanied by a rousing chorus of Happy Birthday To You from the entire restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff wonderful. Café Lviv has become our favourite restaurant.

I had been here a year ago and the food had been outstanding. Dropped by again a few days ago and food was OK, but nothing special. Some friends ordered the Chicken Kyiv and both thought there was an excessive amount of butter (you could see it in the plate). I ordered Ukrainian Beef Goulash and thought it came with just a few pieces of meat, especially given the price. Service was very friendly (top marks for attitude), but a bit slow.

Great to support Cafe Liv, and the food is delicious. Staff are friendly and explain how different spreads, sauces are used in the Ukraine. Just started baking breakfast items available too! The Napoleon dessert is sooo yummy!

Our group had an absolutely fabulous experience at Cafe Lviv. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed by our exemplary server. We enjoyed a feast of a variety of Ukrainian dishes. Everything that our server suggested to order was delicious! We will definitely be visiting Cafe Lviv again.
