A regional hidden gem: excellent Ukrainian cuisine and a wide variety of dishes, from borscht to Georgian khinkali. Definitely worth a detour from the 401.

This is our second visit to Cafe Lviv. Excellent food, good service, lovely atmosphere. Make a reservation or you may not get in. Highly recommended.
The food is absolutely delicious. We ordered the potato pancakes, pork schnitzel, Ukrainian honey cake, and incredible cappuccinos. They use a La Marzocco espresso machine if you appreciate truly good coffee, you’ll understand why that matters. On top of it all, the host/owner is one of the loveliest people you’ll ever meet, which makes the experience even better. I came here with my husband and in laws and they loved it!?!

I’m going through a rough time right now and living out of my truck. After a snowfall, I stopped in and asked if I could shovel their property in exchange for food. I wasn’t expecting much, but once inside I realized it’s more of a fine-dining spot.
They gave me a very generous portion of schnitzel and potatoes, along with a huge bowl of soup — and the soup was absolutely incredible. On top of that, they offered drinks, dessert, and even some cash, which they truly didn’t have to do.
The woman working there was incredibly kind, and everyone was warm and welcoming. Amazing food, even better people. I highly recommend this place — it’s run by genuinely good people.

Exceptional service and delicious food. Wonderful experience at this restaurant, cozy and inviting atmosphere!
Experience was amazing. Our reservation was later in the evening so many items were sold out :( Next time we will go earlier.

Service was good and the staff very pleasant but this is the second time I've had food I couldn't eat. I had vegetarian cabbage rolls. The cabbage was so tough I couldn't cut into it.
Very tasty food. We are ready to go there even from Toronto. In addition to the delicious food, we also liked the atmosphere, in particular, which is created by the cute waiter Sasha

As usual, we were welcomed and treated like valued guests and part of the family. This is authentic Ukrainian food made by Ukrainians. We'll be back!

Wonderful European style hospitality with a menu that reflects the tastes of Eastern Europe especially the borscht and the potatoe pancakes. It is it possible to dine there and subsequently leave feeling hungry.
Delicious food. Service needs improvement.

Delightful restaurant with huge shareable plates of delicious food! Sasha was a wonderful host and while this was a first visit definitely not the last. Take your friends and family and try everything. My BFF and I went for our yearly Christmas dinner and ended up taking two box full of leftovers because their portions were so generous.
Not the best service and food. Staff speaks russian 🤯 Overpriced

Wonderful experience.
The espresso had a rich, full-bodied flavour, and the khachapuri were soft, juicy, cheesy, and absolutely delicious. The server made the visit even more enjoyable.
Highly recommend.
