Captain George's Fish & Chips in Port Hope is worth the 45-minute drive. The cod and halibut are fantastic, with a crispy, light batter. The shrimp and scallops are amazing, especially with the cocktail sauce. The portion sizes are generous, and the service is extremely friendly. It's the best fish and chips place in town, with flawless halibut. Consider opening on Sundays instead of Mondays. Overall, a great experience with delicious food and excellent service.
