Oh boy what a place. I asked around and no one knows when this place was built but it is a canadian relic if I have ever been in one. They band we saw (rain dogs) were amazing. Its a dive bar thats not trying to be for a generation of its own. The hours are weird but shows they are established.

The great dive bar in Northumberland. Nothing has changed in probably about 30 years - especially the carpet ?. Always a great time - people are fantastic. If the (unofficial mayor of Port Hope) Sean Carthew is running an event , it is guaranteed to be a blast. Live music ?? too.

I had the misfortune of going to see a friend perform there. The acoustics are horrible . We waited in line for like forever to get drinks and that included all the drunks that jumped the line. This place is probably one of the dirtiest places I've ever had the misfortune of occupying. I realize this place comes with a ton of history but my god.... Please someone buy this place and give it the makeover that it so desperately needs and deserves. I literally went home and showered just to try and wash the funk off. Enter with caution

What a great old place. A step back into the past. Great place to have a beer and listen to some music. 5 stars as long as you know what to expect.... Definitely not a fancy place but friendly and welcoming
