Best bread ever. Had a sandwich off the menu as well and it was 10 out of 10. What a gem of a shop. I’m over an hours drive away but it has been worth it every single time I have stopped in for treats!!

Vegan & gluten free options and friendly staff! Very expensive for the quality and quantity of what you get though and no seating indoors.

Happenstance is doing something truly proactive for our encironment. They now have composable coffee cups! That's wonderful news and they deserve our support. Kudos to mmanagement.

Amazing selection of bread, desserts, at great prices. They have a big selection including cute, seasonal loaves - we took a turkey shaped loaf to dinner and everyone loved it!

On the way from Toronto to Montreal, had a vegan breakfast sandwich, pasta, baked goods and great coffee. Everything was fantastic. Great bread. I definitely recommend this

It is unacceptable to say that you are open until four and then tell customers that you are not selling food at 3:20. We will not return.

I recently came across this bakery and coffee roastery. I can say without a doubt they do the best BLT in Port Hope. I've tasted many BLTs in Ontario but their's is delicious at a fair price of around $11. I can't tell you what the coffee is like as I haven't had one yet but if they put as much care into their coffee as they do their BLTs i imagine it would be great. I have had two baked goods from them. Delicious. The staff are friendly and a joy to see when I go in. Well done. Keep up the good work and I will keep coming back.

I got a vegan breakfast sandwich and it was SO good!! I am not vegan, but was the best breakfast sandwich ever. was so delicious I’m so happy I decided to give this place a go. Seems like a lot of really great stuff. Will definitely be back!
