Pizza was amazing wish we were told the price of 2 slices could have gotten us a whole pie

Although the pizza is very tasty, I’m sadly disappointed by the service. Ordered online a pizza that includes 3 toppings. Wasn’t informed until I picked up my order that they were out of 1 of the toppings I ordered. Normally not an issue whatsoever, however I never received a call regarding it (which I know they have my # considering I had to fill out my personal info when ordering online). If they simply called, I would have happily chosen another topping. Because of this, I paid for a 3 topping pizza that only had 2 toppings due to lack of customer service and communication.

Best pizza in town.

Party pizzas were ordered to arrive 15 minutes early for children's birthday party. Even with repeated inquiries, pizzas arrived 30 minutes late. Kids were very hungry with limited time to eat. I was not impressed at all by the pizza itself. To be avoided.

It is mainly a take out shop but there are a few high chairs at the bench. The pizza is really tasty and the person is so nice.

Ordered a pizza at 7:50pm tonight to be delivered for the fireworks crew setting up the Canada day show here on the pier!! The person who answered, explained they were closing at 9pm, so couldn't do anymore deliveries. I explained we were setting the fireworks for the show and couldn't get out to pick it up. She checked and said they would squeeze it in for us!
Pizza arrived hot and super super delicious!! And delivery man walked it halfway up to meet me!! Thank you so much for the fantastic service and for squeezing us in!! We were super hungry and the pizza really hit the spot!!

Pizza is not too bad but it is a massive scam, price-wise!!

I usually buy pizza once or twice a week. I live just on the border of Northhumberland and Durham Region, so I usually shop at Food Basics, next to the railroad, in Port Hope. I did not even realize there was a pizza place just across the road until my regular place in Northhumberland was experiencing problems and could not cook the day I was grocery shopping. I had heard good things about Pizzaland in the past, but this was long before Covid, so maybe that has something to do with it.

While on the way to Food Basics, I called up Pappa's Pizzaland and asked the price of an extra large pizza with three toppings--I had noticed their prices on their website went up to large, but not extra large. The lady on the phone stated that three toppings for an extra large would come to $17.99. I did a quick calculation in my head and realized that would equate to somewhere between $20 and $21. When I arrived to pick up the pizza, I was surprised to see their 'extra large' was the same size as all other pizza restaurants' 'large' pizza. Normally I do not buy pizzas in Northhumberland so I just thought their sizes were habitually smaller than everyone else in the province. But when I found out that the price was well in excess of $25, I began to have second thoughts. I asked for the receipt, in order to make sense of it, but the lady then told me their printer was on the fritz and showed me their interact machine by taking the top off and showing me all the scrunched up receipt paper. I told her I would wait, but another customer showed up and she began to take his transaction. She did not offer me any receipts, even after I asked for them, she stating it was a technical problem that was out of her control.

These days, all pizzas are not too bad. They have to be, in order for people to keep paying for them. But this was clearly a double whammy. Give a large pizza to an extra large customer, then charge more than the 13% tax, in order to make a great profit...just like the grocery stores have been doing for the past several years.

I have never been ripped off by a pizza place before. When I pick up the pizza, the price is still the same as what was uttered over the phone. This is the first time a pizza place has actually charged me more than the legal tax and given me a smaller pizza than for what I asked at the same time. ENOUGH OF THIS RUBBISH ALREADY. If you have to steal from your customers, in order to make an honest living, you should not be in business. Go back to working the production line, already...!!!
