I haven’t tried much at Sugar Dust, but the mango Gelato is to die for—so delicious! The couple who runs it are the sweetest, and chatting with them always puts a smile on my face. They have such a warm, friendly vibe that makes you feel right at home. Definitely worth a visit!

We try to go here every month. Everything is just amazing. Their baked goods are phenomenal, and "baked with love and butter". Their sandwiches are memorable. You certainly can tell the Italian influence. They even have real gelato! The owners are lovely people. We followed them from Port Hope. We are happy to see them doing so well in this lovely new location.

I was in Bowmanville to show properties for sale and I stopped in for a coffee with oat milk. The owners are the nicest people and it was so nice to chat with them. It was so nice to enjoy the beautiful weather on the cute front patio. I look forward to trying some vegan gelato the next time I come in!

Went in for a quick treat with my kids (5 and 3) and the owners of this cute bakery were so welcoming and lovely. The kids LOVED their cupcakes, cake pops and homemade blueberry lemonade! I even got to enjoy a hot cup of americano (win!). Would highly recommend and will be going back again and again!

One of the owners, Carmela is just straight up rude. I used to go to Sugar Dust a lot last year but after a few different instances of either witnessing her behavior first hand or watching it from the back of the line, I found it astounding. How can someone who's trying to make their small business thrive be so rude and inept at taking social cues?
The food is alright. REALLY good panini, sweets are tasty but the cupcakes are very small. More icing than cake. Toasted Walnut is much more consistent, and the staff has never made me uncomfortable
Anywho, it's been over a year since I've gone back and don't plan to again.

Small owned bakery and cafe in downtown Bowmanville. I got the cauliflower soup to go and the pistachio gelato! Sooo delicious! The other treats all looked fresh and very reasonably priced. Staff were very kind and friendly!
