My spouse and I are new to the Port Hope area and we were really craving some sushi. We went to Sugoi and it was amazing. The sushi is delicious & super fresh, the portions were great, and our server was the sweetest! It is honestly like a little hidden gem. We will for sure be back!

Very yummy food - we ate the teriyaki chicken dinner, California rolls, and veggie tempura. The salad that came with the dinner was so fresh and everything tasted quite delicious! We are from Toronto but stayed in Port Hope for a few nights and we ate at this restaurant 2 nights in a row because we were tired of the greasy pub food and found the food here fresh snd healthy. Checked this place out last night and it was GREAT. Best sushi I’ve had outside of Toronto (and honestly beating most places in TO). This is my new favourite spot hands down!

Quality food and great price point! Highly recommend the salmon jalapñeo poppers 😋
