Simply a must try if you’re in Port Hope. Every time I’m in the area for work, I make sure to stop by for lunch. Original pork schnitzel sandwich is my go to, but you can’t go wrong with anything else!

Being German, this is the absoloute worse German food I have ever had in my life! The Schnitzel is dry and barely edible. Has zero flavour. Same with the french fries. So dry and almost burnt. And who puts peas in potato salad? We threw it all away.

Awesome schnitzel, we had both the chicken and the pork. Cute little takeout stand with picnic tables for outside dining. We saw a steady stream of people coming for their schnitzel. Highly recommend. A+

Absolutely phenomenal, everything was good, very very good service, you could get simply frys and gravy and would be happy, the 5 dollar pork slider puts any burger joint to shame and the full on dinner was enough for me and lunch at work the next day, I've never felt so good from something apparently fried because there was no grease it was perfect
Will absolutely be going back and those days when I'm feeling a fry and gravy this is it this is my spot now

We hadn't taken a ride to Port Hope in a while so off for a Sunday drive we went. Arrived shortly after noon and parking lot was empty. Was it open? Parked and within 10 seconds we were joined by 3 other cars. All out and inside to order since order window is closed in colder weather. Food is cooked upon order so a 5-10 minute wait is to be expected. Name called and we took to little side patio to enjoy lunch. Still tastes great! We shared the sandwich, but get your own if hungry It will fill you up. Fries are homemade too. Seems like newer folks running it but food is same. I recommend for sure!
Parking: Lot is small so 6 cars may fill. Usually can find a spot to park on the quiet side street. Respect the neighbours if you do. I'm sure they appreciate if you take care.
