They use to have the BEST Chicken Sandwich in town, disappointed they no longer have it. Did see on sign outside best burger in town - will have to try as that's a very big claim as Olympus is just down the road

My family and I had a divine time in this charming dining spot. Our hostess was most gracious and welcoming. I had the Ravioli and the chicken satay which were very delicious. My family members had the steak, the gourmet burger, the trout etc and each of them appreciated their dishes and savoured it thoroughly. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Port Hope!

First time that we have ever visited Port Hope and we decided to eat lunch at The Social Bar and Table. The food was delicious. We were a table of 4 and we had the Steak and Fries, Trout and also the Mussels. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the meals and the drinks.
We were also very happy to find that they had a selection of wine available for purchase that were not available at LCBO. We picked up a couple to enjoy at home. Thanks for a delicious meal and we hope we can come back soon

My friend had the Steak Frites and I had tacos from the summer menu. We added a picture of sangria and topped it off with crème brûlée for dessert. Absolutely delicious! Sat outside and enjoyed the incredible summer weather. Definitely recommend eating here. Saw the back room oyster bar inside which also has a similar menu with some differences and it looked great too. I might try that option next time.

Brought a date here for dinner. I got the steak and fries, she had the trout.
The steak and fries were amazing as always, along with the basil mayo that they make in house.
My dates trout was so amazing she plans on returning as soon as possible. I also had a bite of this and it was quite good. And that’s coming from someone who doesn’t really eat fish!
Would give 10 stars if I could. The atmosphere and the service add to the whole experience.

Booked here because of the reviews . The food was tasty but portion size is very small ! Club sandwich comes with a tablespoon of coleslaw , no fries or salad as did the brisket sandwich !! You could pay an extra $8 I think for fries !! My friend ordered a cocktail and it was not even full to rim and it was $16 !! Overpriced for what you get . If a man was served this he would need 2 of them . No atmosphere at all and the place needs a good clean . We sat at the window and it was filthy dirty as was the floor . Vents on floor were so rusted out ! Sorry but I won’t be back which is too bad as the food was good just not enough for the price they charge .
